Happy holidays, Cougar Ridge!
Thank you to everyone who has stayed. This week was a lot better than I expected. We even have some new characters to welcome: pharmacist Vivian Allen, Police Chief Berty Peel, paranormal investigator Sheldon Pruitt, and Officer James Coulter.
Unfortunately, we're also saying goodbye to several characters: Johanna Doyle, Terry Burroughs, Stu Appleman (deceased), Mei Ling, Justine Terry, Gabriel Moore, Todd Helper (deceased), Dashiell Pitt (deceased, presumed missing).
Almost everyone else has commented on the Late Edition Gazette to say that they are hanging around. Five exceptions, who have commented on the story post, are Dale Thwaidey, Quinn Magners, Kevin Eidelman, Aspen Keeley, and Vernon Spock. If the five of you wouldn't mind popping over
here and stating your intentions, I would appreciate it.
These next couple of weeks are likely to be slow, also, as people finish up their holidays and the recovery from same, and as we all get used to the new GM . . . oh, yeah, that would be me. This is only to be expected, but please don't forget to post to keep your character in the game.
I would like to remind people that comments in the story are supposed to be 500 words or less. If you use a word processing program - Word, WordPerfect, etc. - instead of typing right into the comment box, there's sure to be a "word count" function built in, so it's not like you'll have to physically count them yourself.
Remember you can use this entry as a place to voice questions or concerns, tell me what you think of the new layout, or even to say how wonderful you think I am something is. You may also e-mail me at cougar(dot)ridge(at)earthlink(dot)com. You can even use the private message function that LiveJournal recently introduced (if you don't know how, ask!).
Again, thanks to everyone for sticking around!
