Windows Vista Help

Ok, stupid question. In Windows Vista, I right clicked on a file, went into properties, and clicked on "hidden" as an attribute. Unlike Windows XP, the file actually disappeared from view in the folder! I yelled olly-olly-oxenfree, but it's still hiding and doesn't realize the game is over. Anyone have any clue how to see the file again?Thanks

In XP at least there is an option under Tools|Folder Options that specifies whether or not you can see hidden files in that folder. Is there a similar option that simply isn't selected in Vista?
