I love daylilies! If I'd gotten married in the summer I would have used some variation of lilies for our centerpieces.
Your cake sounds amazing. Mine was "wedding white" with homemade buttercream and vanilla custard filling. My uncle is a pastry chef and made it for us.
That is an awesome deal on those place settings. We never got formal china *sigh* but our regular plates are really nice. They don't make them anymore, but they're plain white so it's not hard to find close replicas.
We decided not to get formal china because we really don't need 32 place settings floating around. WE also figured we were more likely to get ALL of our dishes if we only registered for one set. So we got Mikasa china, it's just the every day, dishwasher safe china. =)
