Thanks! I'm having trouble with the article, not because it's the least bit difficult, but because my brain is broken from all the thesis work!
Yeah, it's been snowing here all week. We're used to that in Eastern Washington, where I am, but it's actually been snowing a bunch in Seattle and Portland, too, which is really unusual!
I read McTeague last year for an English class. I liked it, although it does get pretty violent. I read it for a class called City Life in American Lit, and it was really interesting to look at the representation of San Francisco in the book. Enjoy!
Also: Holy Hell, I know! The weather seriously needs to take a chill pill! In the past 3 days we've had snow, rain, hail, sunshine, overcast skies, cold weather, warm weather, wind... I guess "in like a lion..."
I'm actually looking forward to something violent, haha. My brain needs some excitement. I'm actually writing my final paper on it, because I can link it to criminology, which is part of my major field of study. Yay!!
I remember when I finished my thesis...It was like this HUGE weight lifted from my shoulders. Congrats on knocking yours out!
Ugh. If you're having snow right now, that means it's headed my way later this week. Whenever you have crap weather it's almost like a few days later, it hits us. You really don't have to share, you know! ;)

And yeah, it feels SO good! I threw back a quick glass of white wine after I finished, and I've been feeling quite light all evening! Haha.
