Though it's sad to say, Bob would be a lot less centered in the City if not for Thor. Thor told Bob about what happens in Bob's future -- what he does -- and it's given Bob more anxiety, but more cause to try and control himself. However, his attempts have not been entirely successful as perhaps only Thor knows.

Of all the Avengers Bob's worked with, Carol might be the one he trusts the most pre-City. Something about her makes her easier to relax around, which for Bob is a big deal, but at the same time he's paranoid of letting her above anyone else know what's going on with him when he's struggling.

Bob has so many mixed feelings about Tony. So many. Overall he trusts him and he sided with him during the early days of the SHRA, and although Bob stands by his choice he worries about any rippling divisions it may have caused. Tony isn't someone Bob feels like he can speak to on a level that isn't professional or somehow superficial (beyond some past commiseration about their addictions), but it works well enough.

Hank is kind and supportive, which Bob appreciates. He makes Bob feel a little less like he's all alone, although Bob isn't sure how to respond to it. He's used to being sort of feared/cold-shouldered by most people, exceptions being notably distant themselves.

Bob is friends with She-Hulk's cousin, the Hulk, but has some acquaintanceship with her. He's offered her joint custody of his dog, Bruce (named for Dr. Banner himself).

Bob likes Peter; their personalities mesh well so he's easy to talk to and relax around, at least compared to the other Avengers, and is one of his partners in the team's Science division.

Bob is nervous around Mockingbird, mostly because he knows she knows his future as Thor had. He also doesn't know her as well as most of the other Avengers. However, she's been incredibly welcoming to him despite everything else, so he's grateful for that and is trying his best not to be a burden on the team heavily for her sake.

Much like with Bobbi, Bob is wary about Clint because he knows about his own supposed fate and boy, does that make things awkward. He's planning to try his best to make them un-awkward, sure, but with Bob that's never a guarantee.

Jessica is a friend of Bob's, in that he's helped her a few times and talks to her when the opportunity arises. He saved her and a friend from Gamzee. He doesn't, however, notice the slight crush she seems to have on him.
