[Well, it's come to Emma's attention that she can't keep holed up in her apartment all day. Eventually, she has to come out and get food and supplies. While it normally wouldn't be that big of a deal, Luceti is just so, so much dirtier than her car and the local grocery store. ...You're going to be very busy cleaning if you want everything spotless. Not that I want a pigsty either! (But even all the adults don't remember to clean up after themselves.)
