[She hadn't been teleported. Somehow, Emma managed to avoid ending up somewhere strange for two whole days, and she was stupid enough to believe that it was all going to be over and she'd be fine. Except, one moment she was eating her sandwich, seated at her table in her apartment, her journal in her lap, and the next? She hardly knew what hit her. She was soaked. Instantly, surrounded by water. She wasn't dropped into the lake--she was teleported a few feet beneath the surface. As horrified as she was by this sudden predicament, at least she wasn't the only one so unfortunate...]

[After somehow getting to the shore, she's very pleased to notice that she still has her journal. Giles and Raine can be heard in the background, so you could get a reply from any of them, but it's Emma who starts. She just blurts out the first thing that comes to mind, for everyone to hear.]
