I simply ADORE the last scene with those glances, it's that one scene where I always find myself screaming (and I am by no means an illusionistic fangirl who sees some meaning in every bit of their interaction), "WHAT THE HELL! If they weren't meant to be together, then why are they looking at each other so wistfully???"

You are right, this scene is eternal bliss, no doubt about that... ^^

You did do some extra coulouring in those caps, didn't you? I love how Katara's eyes flash this stunning shade of blue... fanfiction-blue I'd call it XD

Okay, seriously. This show came out when I was in high school, and it's what got my PARENTS into liking things that even remotely resemble anime. This is what we did on Friday nights- everyone got together to watch this show. It was a family business, and it was SERIOUS BUSINESS.

The best part?

This was my mom's favorite episode, simply because she likes weird romances. There has never been any other time in my life in which my mother and I pulled a fangirl moment over the same thing <3

I dabble in cosplay, and my mom is trying to commission me to do Fire Nation Aang for my little brother, who is 11 and is obsessed with the show XD We have it all on DVD, and that's all he wants to watch. Ahhh, I've trained him well.
