6) Who does the housework in their house/apartment?: Hahahaha Guy, whenever he can. The others try to beat him to it sometimes, but Guy is VERY aware of what needs to be done.
7) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Again, Guy probably cooks whenever possible. He loves seafood but he knows Asch hates it, so usually he only makes seafood for himself when he comes home late from the bar and Asch is already in bed.
8) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He'll do housework, check the journals for anything interesting going on, and look after Good Spirits mostly. If he's got extra time he might jog or do something to keep in shape. He's also taken up training with his sword again, because he -and Pere- are some of the last practitioners of the Sigmund style and he wouldn't want it to be lost because he's lazy.
9) Their general sense of fashion: Button-down shirts and slacks. Guy usually dresses casually snazzy, like those fashionable men you see in cafes. Guy doesn't make it obvious, but he likes to look good and usually takes care to be clean-shaven, crisp and smelling great.
10) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Guy loves bartending. He does it some in canon, but saving the world takes up a lot of his time so he can't enjoy it too often. ...although his first experience wasn't all that great, considering the girls were bullying him. But he loves the act itself; serving people, listening to their troubles, offering advice when needed. He likes to cater to people and bartending lets him do that.
Other than that, he really doesn't have any set hobbies. He'll read, clean, help people out when he can. He's taken up training again too.
11) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Very little. Though Guy is naturally a nice person, he's got some bitterness that probably won't ever go away. He also firmly believes in keeping people on a need-to-know basis; namely, if he doesn't want to tell someone something he doesn't see why he has to or why he should. Being in Luceti hasn't really challenged that mentality a lot -it takes a lot of time for Guy to actually change his views- but it has made him a tad more honest. ...though usually it's an uphill battle to get him to really talk about himself, especially if it's something personal or otherwise unsavory.
12) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Guy is currently getting himself a new katana from the smithy since that damn Pokemon chewed on it. He'll probably start carrying it with him regularly again.
13) Who are their neighbors?: House 6 to the southwest and house 4 to the northeast. House 3 directly north, but Guy doesn't know any of them. House 4 is Stahn, who Guy's barely spoken with and House 6 is the Strawhats. Guy loves living next door to Nami. /LIFTS BROWS SUGGESTIVELY
14) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Two years :D One, Abyss!time. He actually really loves it in Luceti, though if he was presented with the opportunity to go back AND still be able to visit the place he'd take it. Not without knowing he could have Asch and Luke, though.
15) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Well his favorite is clearly Good Spirits. He spends most of his time there. Otherwise he just walks around, stays home or visits his pals.
16) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Pale sky blue and he FLAUNTS THEM~ No but really, he's altered most of his shirts to accomodate for them, because keeping them covered up is somewhat uncomfortable.
17) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Well, his hair, but he keeps it trimmed. He might've gained a few pounds too, but his metabolism is fantastic so it never stays on if he does.
18) What do they miss the most from home?: Probably Pere. Fontech is a RIDICULOUSLY CLOSE second. B|
19) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two? Guy has very nice and neat handwriting, but his speech varies depending on who he's talking to. He mostly uses the voice function anyhow, but there isn't a glaring difference between how he writes and how he speaks.

The New, Improved Character Survey of Doom
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Guy is tall and thin. He's not thin like Jade is, but it's obvious that he's built more for speed than for power. He has awesome legs.
2. How old is he? Twenty-four
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? Guy's posture changes to accommodate his mood, but he usually stands very well, shoulders back and chin up. If he's leaning against anything, he might have his shoulders hunched and his chin down.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Guy is ridiculously fit. He has no illnesses, conditions or physical disabilities; he is in perfect health.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Guy is pretty damn graceful. He moves with a natural sort of fluidity, which is good since the style of sword he uses calls for a lot of control and connected movements.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? Well, Guy seems to have a jillion female admirers throughout the game, though that could be attributed in part to the fact that he spazzes and all women in that game are evil and think his abject terror is cute.
Either way, Guy is pretty handsome. He's tall, lean and tanned with sunbleached blond hair, dark blue eyes and a bright, charming smile. Considering most noble families are in some way related to the crown, it makes sense that he resembles Peony a bit -if somewhat paler- and Peony is considered a fairly handsome man himself.

He likes to look good, so he always puts at least some thought into his clothes. He's generally somewhat casual though, unless he feels like dressing up for his shift at the bar; Guy almost never spruces himself up. Even his nobleman clothes at the end of the game are really, really casual.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them? Lol I GUESS his clothes fit well, if you consider painted-on pants a good fit. He seems happy enough in them though.

Well like I said, he'll sometimes dress up for bar duty if he feels like it, but generally he does dress the same all the time. Although he's taken to not wearing his gloves unless he's doing sword training.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? I play Guy with JYB's voice acting in mind. So relatively deep; at the very least, quite obviously masculine.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate? Guy almost has a sort of casual drawl when speaking to people with whom he's comfortable. He can be very formal when the occasion calls for it though, but it's not often that he hesitates and he almost never stutters. He's very sure of what he's saying, and if he's not he just doesn't say anything. You could count the number of times Guy has an uncontrolled outburst in the game on one hand, that's how controlled he is.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Well, he laughs a lot. And he says "well" as a sentence starter quite often, or "oh" or "ah." Starting a sentence without some kind of neutral sound is a little harsh, so he usually tries to soften it with the words he chooses. He's very diplomatic in his approach with speech, even if he doesn't agree with whoever he's talking to.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency? The fonic language of Auldrant, though in Luceti it sounds like everything else. He maybe knows a very little bit of Ancient Ispanian, but since he's never had formal training with it and has never been to school or has had tutors all he knows is what Pere has managed to teach him or what he's picked up from the leftovers of Luke's lessons.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Well, aside from formal to informal, no.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words? Guy usually tends to think about his words before he speaks, preferring to listen first and talk second. He has his fair share of outbursts -well, less than some of the more hotheaded members of the party probably- and occasionally if he snaps he can say things that are much harsher than what he actually means.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Guy isn't really either. He's very easy to understand, no matter who he speaks to; but he doesn't sound like a hick or a noble, he's a very comfortable middle ground.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? Guy's pretty sharp. He reads a lot just for the sake of having knowledge in his head, and he retains his memories pretty well (save for the infamous "how I got my phobia" memory). He's street-smart and EXTREMELY people smart. He can read others fairly well, and if he makes a guess on behavior he's usually right.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? Guy can do either! He can think on his feet when necessary, but he prefers to have time to think things through. He's big on running mental scenarios before you do anything drastic.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Guy usually errs on the side of logic. He's an empathetic person, but he's become extremely practical and methodical just because he had to be.
4. What kind of education has the character had? Guy spent most of his life as a servant, but he was the personal servant of a very high-ranking noble's son so his education is better than that of just some other maid or housekeeper. He learned a lot by reading Luke's books so he could help him with his studies, and also I imagine Pere wouldn't let the last Gardios be a dunderhead so he probably did what he could to educate him on the truth about Malkuth's history and such, too.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? FONTECH FONTECH FONTECH AND MORE FONTECH. Guy. Loves. Fonic technology. He's a complete geek over it, and he's actually pretty handy considering he could help repair the Tartarus without being a qualified mechanic. He calls it just a hobby but if Guy weren't otherwise indisposed he'd probably make a damn good worker in Sheridan.
Other than that he enjoys bartending. Not the whole mixing drinks part, but the social aspect of it. He's not bad at cooking and household chores, sewing, cleaning, and just working in general. He likes it and thinks of cleaning as therapeutic, much to everyone's confusion.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert? Uhhh MOSTLY extrovert? He genuinely likes people and enjoys speaking with them, learning about them. He's very comfortable and friendly and easy to get along with; he knows how to make people feel at home with just a couple conversations, and is extremely good at being sincere and trustworthy. At the same time though there are things he doesn't tell people just because he thinks they don't need to know. It's a sort of cold way to see things, but years and years of lying can become a habit and even though there's nothing to hide now he'll still give out "Guy Cecil" before he gives out "Gailardia Galan."
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Oh God Guy is so laid-back. It takes so, SO much to make him lose his cool. Guy almost never lashes out -least of all physically- so when it happens it's usually very sudden and almost kind of scary. Guy is so mild and tame and charming but if someone says or does something he REALLY doesn't like he'll get downright icy and vicious.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? On the surface Guy will be extremely pleasant and welcoming, unless the person is clearly a complete asshole. Then he'll just be polite and forgiving. If someone seems suspicious -or the situation is suspicious- he'll hold his judgment quietly and keep one hand on his sword (not literally D| ).
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react? He's not really prone toward either. He'll do what the situation calls for. ...though I guess react, since he's still got that servant mentality.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight? Uhh depends on whether or not his life is in serious danger. If there's a strong possibility he might die and he doesn't have the lives of his friends riding on the fight he'll turn tail. He has no problem looking like a coward to save his hide.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Guy's humor is all over the place. He can go for clean or -lately, what with Jade and Peony's influence- he can go for sarcastic. Guy usually doesn't joke around much with people he doesn't know very well, though.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them? Well he has his phobia of all things lady. He deals with it normally; he wants to stop being terrified of girls and he's much better than he was before, but still pretty shaky.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person? His fifth birthday, getting into Fabre manor, meeting Luke (Asch), meeting Luke (Luke), changing his mind about his revenge, everyone finding out about his past, remembering how his sister died, finding out about Malkuth's and Van's involvement in Hod, all the times Van was like "Hey Guy so you should totes join me," and the Tower of Rem, and losing Luke.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations? TO OWN HIS OWN ALBIORE. ...actually that's completely legit. :|b Otherwise, maybe to get Asch home with him? He already knows Luke's going to come back because he promised.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him? Well, he doesn't really like throwing out that story about his sister and he especially hates it when people find out that he was all for killing an innocent child because of who his father was.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. Guy barely remembers his parents, so they're more like far off figures than Mother and Father. Guy actually worries quite a bit; his mother was Kimlascan, so he wonders if she felt betrayed when Hod was attacked. He also worries if he's tarnishing his father's reputation and good name by not being a good enough noble and by being involved with Kimlascan royalty as he is.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? His sister Mary, whom he adored with every fiber of his being. Mary was his caretaker -aside from Van- and she loved him dearly. She didn't coddle him like the servants and his parents did, but she never seemed bitter about that fact that he was expected to uphold the Gardios name and not her even though she was older (then again she'd likely get married and join some other house so there was that). But when it came down to it she hid him and stood between Guy and the soldiers and took the sword that was meant for him, and he'll never forget it. He's also horribly ashamed of his phobia; Mary and all the maids died to save him and he's so pathetic he's terrified of girls because of it. Lame.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? Cecille, but he hasn't had a chance to talk to her often. She's been very kind to him though, and has introduced him to some of their family from his mother's side, which he appreciates. It's kind of weird though, since he identifies himself as Malkuthian and they're clearly Kimlascan. Guy doesn't always remember that he's half Kimlascan, and honestly sometimes he doesn't want to remember that he is anyway.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? Van was like an older brother to him and Pere is much like Guy's grandfather or guardian now. Luke is his child. :|
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? LUUUUUUKE. ♥
6. Does he have other close friends? Everyone in the party~ And some people without.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? Guy can get along with almost anybody. ALMOST anybody.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? Ehhh Guy does not draw a line there.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest? His first was some pretty teenager in St. Binah. She was a lot older than him and he was devastated when she told him his crush was cute but she didn't return his feelings. His latest is...uh, idk. Nami? It's not quite a CRUSH though, more of a mild interest.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner? RED HAIR Guy doesn't really look for anything SPECIFIC.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any? Well, Guy is expected to have children to continue the Gardios bloodline and he'd LIKE to eventually have kids. But there's the phobia thing and...he's kind of in a somewhat serious relationship right now, though he's still holding out to see how it goes.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies? Ohhhh yes. Duke Fabre will forever be a source of bitterness, anger and hatred for Guy. Also he doesn't particularly like Sync, though he does pity him a bit.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Guy's probably somewhere between a two and a three; partially out of necessity and partially because I really don't think he gives THAT much of a fuck about gender. I mean, it's pretty obvious that he loves the female body but he's not exactly a womanizer or a skirt chaser. He flirts and he's charming and chivalrous, but he's also kind to just abotu anyone he meets so I think it just works better on girls because he's handsome and sincere when he says, "Well you're beautiful too." Anyway, my fanon has it that he's slept with three people, two men and a woman (which he doesn't remember) and he's hooked up with Luke, Zack and Asch in Luceti but he tends to have pseudo-romances/HEAVY flirtation with women too (IE Meryl, Buffy, Nami, Stella to some extent). I think he's only been intimate with men because he...can't be intimate with women quite yet. If he didn't have his phobia I'm sure he'd have explored relationships with some of them. As it is we already know he DOES fantasize about Tear and Natalia in the shower (what a pedo).

Eh, about as important to anyone else who gets some on a fairly regular basis.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Turn-offs...childishness and mentioning Fabre. Self-righteousness, actually. He hates that, especially if someone tends to go on a tangent about what they think of as right and wrong and consider it FACT. His turn-ons are teasing and pleasing his partner. A lot. He really likes to make sure his partner is as incoherent as they can be, and loves to pamper and spoil them and sometimes even nudge them a little to see if they'd like to explore their own kinks.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type? NOPE and I'm not figuring it out. o/
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life? Guy followed it like everyone else until he found out that it was the reason for Hod's destruction. Then he decided he hated it, and while he doesn't hold the same feverish bitterness for it that Asch and Van have, he still doesn't like to talk about it in-depth. It's caused he and his closest friends an awful lot of grief.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Oh geez. He does but he doesn't? He has a few things he'll never do, but they're not really something like "I'LL NEVER STEAL" or "I'LL NEVER KILL SOMEONE" and more like "I'll never make Mary's sacrifice for nothing." As for lying, cheating and even stealing Guy is very, very flexible. Even with killing and murder; he doesn't do it indiscriminately, but if he has a goal he MUST accomplish and the only way to remove someone from between himself and that goal, he'll kill them. When he was in his teens he had every intent of murdering a child in cold blood, and although he's changed for the kinder he hasn't completely shaken that darker side of himself, nor does he want to. That darker side helped him to survive, so he treats his personal code of morals very, very carefully.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Guy, being easy-going, is pretty respectful of different views. He may not agree with them but he'll respect them. The only time he'd get violent or do anything to interfere with someone's beliefs is if their beliefs upset his way of life.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them? Well, he seems to dislike the old generation of Kimlascan royalty; King Ingobert and Duke Fabre. Their kids are pretty cool. He also doesn't particularly like Emperor Peony the VIII, but Peony the IX is also pretty cool and the old Emperor is dead so disliking him is a moot point.
And yeah, he's got a pretty damn good reason to dislike them, though you could also consider them irrational in the way he reacts to certain things.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
H-haha. Guy is servant-turned-noble; a count, in fact, which is a pretty high-ranking title. As a result of claiming his inheritance he was filthy rich back home and completely miserable. He sunk a lot of his funds into fontech research -and got a fair amount of it back- and has a summer home in Saint Binah where he refuses to employ maids, preferring to clean and cook for himself there.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him? Uh well like I said, Count. And yeah, he used to be a servant to House Fabre, which is actually pretty impressive as far as servants go. There were the lower-class servants who worked for lesser nobles, but the Duchy is right beside the royal family, so servants who worked for the Fabres were pretty comfortable and well off. Guy was also the personal servant to the tertiary heir to the throne, so a servant he may be he probably would have had a nice life working as the personal servant to the King and Queen of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear.
BUT he claimed his name and inheritance and went back to Malkuth as the newly instated Count Gardios and now he walks the emperor's rappigs. Oh well.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others? Beautiful, luxurious manor. He hates it. He wants a cozy little house like the ones in Engave. At Luceti they have a fairly big house but he actually likes it quite a bit and enjoys keeping it neat and ready for company.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on? FONTECH. FONNNNTECH. Guy spends most of his money on fontech and while they could be called investments they also...aren't. Guy also had a monument erected for Hod -though Peony insisted on contributing as by way of apology- but that's really the only other thing. He donates to charities a lot, but he's just one man and there's a lot of money there and he doesn't really want to squander it, on the off-chance that he does have children.
He does wonder if House Gardios will ever hold its own territory again though.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else? Guy is an excellent servant and not a bad noble (though in a rare display of insecurity he doesn't think he's very good); he's just new at the job and has a lot to learn about his responsibilities and how to conduct himself. He doesn't really like being a noble but recognizes the necessity of it and doesn't want to disgrace his father's precious name, so he does everything he can to be as impressive as one can be when giving a rappig a bath.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time? Guy loves fontech, in case you haven't noticed that yet. :| He spends his free time cleaning, writing, visiting Eldrant's crash site and FONTECH. In Luceti he spends a lot of his free time cleaning and running the bar.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Guy isn't one to skip meals, ever. He eats well -not too much, not too little- and he does have his little quirks about eating but nothing really violent. He has a fairly good tolerance for alcohol but it's something he's had to build up as a bartender in Luceti.
