Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed the meta + eye candy! Although it's the vidders who made such lovely stuff--I just got out of the way. :)

That was absolutely the most *amazing thing ever*. All the different vidders' sources and styles, and it really *works!* Somehow you made it work! OMG, it was awesome. I think my favorite bits were

-- "Yatta!" from Improper Dancing

-- Cybil swinging the door open from "She Hates Me" matched with Superman pushing the door open in "Living Dead Girl" -- *nice.*

-- Zooming in on LC's credits for "Jack"

-- Timing Buffy's "Now!" from "Church" to the lyrics-- I got chills.

Seriously-- wow.

Oh, thank you for the praise, and the specific notes! Those were some of my favorite parts, too.

I could hardly go wrong with such brilliant vids to work with.

Yay for vids! :D

OK, thanks! Uh...

*wonders what that means...worries about sounding stupid...endeavors to find out anyway*

You mean there are conventions that take vid mashups?

oh yeah. there are. several conventions

High quality MPEG2 - take your project file (not the small internet wmv file) and export so you can burn it onto a playable DVD. Generic isntructions on how to encode for MPEG2 are here http://www.vividcon.com/instructions.shtml

- and on the net there are tutorials that can show you step by step what you need to do for your specific software program.
