I really just want my iPod right now. Before graduation my parents asked me what I wanted for my graduation present and I said and iPod. My mom made it seem that I WOULD be getting one, but to date there is no iPod. I got enough money from my realitives to go buy my own iPod, but my brothers told me not to, becuase I guess my mom still wants to get ( Read more... )

It's all relative to what we have grown up with. My friend Charley calls me everyday complaining he only has a multi-million inheritance rather than a multi-billion inheritance, or that his parents aren't buying the summer cottage he had wanted for the summer. It's all relative, really. No one hates you any more or less for it.

And I hate it when you go out and do something then your parents turn it around and complain that they were going to get you that or take you out somewhere when they never had the plans. ::kills them::

BTW, the 30th of September is a horrible birth date. It's a month after school begins, so if there is something you want (piercings, tattoo, cigaretts, etc.) you have to wait until a month after college starts... then it's just weird when you do it. There are a million other reasons that Sep. 30th sucks, but that is the highlight complaint of the moment. :)

Sept. 30 sucks also because its the FIRST friday of the year at UCSC and my PARENTS are going to be comming down to visit me. I wanted to party!

I can think of a few reasons why sept. 30 is awsome:
Liz was born on it
James Dean died on it (making him a ledgand)
Pinicylin was discovered on it
and, I guess it gave me life also...

Hmm... Birthday weekend we should totally do something, I shoudl come up to SF and make you show me around!

haha Aw! ♥ Poor Jen can't get drunk and high off her hass in SC on her birthday. Or you could... But your parents just may be a little displeased. After the 'rents leave, you should visit me in SF and we can hit the gay night life at clubs and raves for our eighteenth. It will be bloody fantastic.

I figured that you got aids and died. Nice to know your still alive. Its thursday, we (aubrey, you and I) should do something.

Also Leigh's Reno thing is pretty much confirmed, via AJ, who got an e-mail from her saying that she wanted to hang out with him and fishhair before she moves to reno, probably in early augest.

Yeah, mom and I were just supposed to go get some concert tickets, and it turned into a afternoon of running errands. Big Josh works at Target now.
And we should totally do stuff tonight. If I remember correctly, Aubrey doesn't work tonight.

Yeah, I figured the Reno thing was it. When Aubrey and I asked her about it, her response was, "Why would you think that", which is like her saying, "Damn, how'd you figure out?"

They said they were going to get you the damn thing, they ought to do it. I recommend wheedling them a bit. Maybe downloading iTunes and making a big deal of showing them how cool it is will be sufficently oblique and yet effective.

OUght isn't the point. I have no doubt that with continues begging and what not that I will get it, but I just hate the fact that they did't even get me a card. Its like that are too busey with other things to do shit for me.

Maybe your dad got fired and your mom has ovarian cancer, so they are saving their money.

Or maybe they're just pricks...

Or MAYBE they're sad that you're leaving, so they're toying with you to get your attention...OR they're going to unload a ton of shit on you on Sept. 30 because its your birthday AND your first day of college.

But if not, you can borrow mine sometime if you still feel sad...

Either way, if you ever feel selfish just think of me, because I ask for so much and usually get most of it by sulking.
