So I tried to sleep at 3:30. I have it a good two hours... I did nod off but then I was set upon by nightmares. Not good nightmares either, not the ones where there is a homicidal maniac after you. Just so you know, I read the whole thing and I understand completely. It's so hard to keep going, knowing you deserve a chance and that you live a reasonably thoughtful existence, and yet nothing seems to work out for you.
I've been feeling the same way for about the last 8 months or more, because no matter who I met, what I did, or where I went, I couldn't seem to find a way to turn my luck around.
People would ask me, what? you're not working? and give me this look as if to ask 'what's wrong with you?' It feels like shit.

...But you know, hon, there will be a day, hopefully sooner than later, when something will happen that will change your life for the better.

You're lucky to have people around you that care about you, and really, we do. I know I've never MET met you, but anytime you need to talk you're more than welcome to call/email/yell/whatever. Apparently I listen well. :)

As for her, there's nothing better you can do than remember her and continue to take care of and respect yourself.

I hope you feel better soon.
I think it's great that you recognize you have ppl who love you, and that you in fact will be alright, even during difficult times.
dont let the weather get you down, even if you have to PRETEND to like it, do it. seriously, it helps sometimes.

as for me, Dec/Jan are the worst, because that is when one of my favourite people were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver.
He was only 18 years old..and honestly, it feels like everyone got over it BUT me...it's fucking weird.

hey...treading on thin ice but...i don't know what really happened, for her to reach such a point...but i think she had a right to be selfish...and you just have to forgive her and move on. try to let her rest in her peace. life is fucked. i'm sorry you had to go through that. wish i had gotten to know her better myself...chin up
