Do any of you embroider? I need opinions on what stitch I should use for this thing I'm doing but I don't know enough to know a good one. I don't like the way it looks with the stitches I know, am desperate for a second opinion

I love your fic here! I do not watch the show (no cable in my apt) but as someone who is an ocean sailor, I thought you perfectly captured life out on the water, and what can happen when weather goes very bad. I was out with my dad on the ocean when we got hit by the tail end of a hurricane and were dealing with 16-20 foot ocean swells - it was terrifying. Reading this fic brought back how scary the ocean can be.

I procrastinate by doing chores - laundry is good for a few hours but I hate running up and down 4 flights of stairs every 30-60 minutes.

We have a dusting of snow. I kind of miss big snow and snow plows but not too much :)

I only have the 1 flight of stairs for my laundry, pretty pleased about that. When I had a laundry room in a separate building/area I would take a bunch of books or my computer and camp out until I was done. Eff stairs, man.
