We're expecting again. Due date is Feb 13. C section is already scheduled for earlier than that. Chica's doctor says no one does VBAC's (first they didn't, then they did, and now they don't). I find that a little disappointing, as the last C section was pretty debilitating. But, at least this time I'll know better than to stress so much about ( Read more... )

"No one does VBAC"? It's not the common way to go, but it's not that uncommon, either.

That said, planned cesarians are quick and convenient. To my mind, the primary advantage of vaginal birth is that it may be slightly better for the child, but I haven't had to think about rupture issues.
