New Lows in Procrastination

This week I made the powerpoint slides while sitting in the meeting in which I was to present them. I think the only way to top that is to actually type them as I'm presenting them. On the plus side, it appears that I did not accidentally sell my company for $1 or create an international incident via typo.

Actually, back in the days of overhead transparencies (wow, I feel old), I went with one of my professors to a conference, where during his talk, he put the blank transparency down on the projector and started writing. Weirdly, it did kind of work for him...

Sounds a lot like a whiteboard :). A lot of my high-school teachers wrote on overheads -- seems totally reasonable to me :).

One of our professors would write on the overheads as he went, but then he would also erase on them, using a wet cloth, which would generally result in a smeary mess.
