I used the sponge-cake recipe, actually. But I didn't have any measuring cups, so I just kinda dumped everything in two bowls, mixed them, and mixed everything together.

AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE A SPONGE CAKE SO TAKE THAT HA

I don't even.WHY THE HELL IS A SPONGE CAKE BROWN? What'd you use, brown sugar? YOU CAN'T JUST MIX THINGS TOGETHER FOR A SPONGE CAKE. It's. A delicate process! AND WHY IS IT BROWN?

SPONGE CAKES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LIGHT. AND FLUFFY. AND STUFF.

IT'S A CHOCOLATE SPONGECAKE OKAY? Which is why I didn't eat any, but my mum thought it was good, so there. :| THAT'S WHY IT'S BROWN. AND MINE TURNED OUT FINE, DIDN'T IT? But the recipe was a little boring, so I added some other things in it too, BUT IT ONLY MADE IT BETTER, SO HA.
