I returned an order to Thai Silks on the 16th of April, and they still haven't contacted me to say it's arrived. I foolishly didn't invest in tracking on the package....

Cross your fingers that it shows up soon. I'm starting to feel concerned about the amount of time it's taking.

One of my co-workers just brought in a picture one of my students had drawn for me and left on the bulletin board. It's a rather flattering rendering of me, holding hands with a mystery gentleman. Because the film came out AGES ago, but I think I may have a new I'm-embarrassed-to-admit-I-kind-of-love-this-movie movie. If you haven't seen The Sasquatch Gang and aren't opposed to Napoleon Dynamite-esque movies, check it out.

I just acquired a yard and a quarter of a lovely pale peach taffeta. I saw it and immediately thought of the cross front half-robe cir. 1795-1800 from Janet Arnold, but I'm 99% sure I don't have enough yardage. My little sister (who I'd be making it for) is small, but probably not THAT small.

So. Any suggestions? The color screams Regency at me.
