No one I know uses that derogatory word, but then, some of my social circles are markedly different than yours. I shall have to inquire about its origin when you return from your short adventure.

I once saw someone say that it was pretty much in league with calling someone a "poophead." I think that's about where I stand on it. It would get on my nerves more if it carried more weight or really meant anything at all or was, you know, A REAL WORD, but as it stands... Eh.

It is annoying, though. Mostly because it's everywhere despite being such a weaksauce insult. :P

I think what pisses me off the most is that the people I've heard use it think it's some great insult in Japanese or something. It's the fact that they're wrong when they think they're so right.
