AAAAAAAAAH
I had my first real concert experience tonight.
There have been other smaller ones...but I didn't care about the music in some of them I was always like "ooh he's hawt!" and it ruined it.
So at this one. I crowd surfed and god it was awesome,
I got a ride from Matt's dad, it was sudden right when I got home me and Breezy were hanging out eating cheetos. and Matt calls saying he'll be over soon.
He still wasn't there by 3:30 so we were getting relaxed......so as I'm changing they start knocking on the front door. Haha.
And then I see Erick and Joseph are coming too; along with Emma obviously.
I thought it was bad at first because I used to think Erick was an ass but it was so awesome especially with them there.
When we got there the line was still outside; and we found Grace and Mary.
Mary had left her ticket in Grace's sisters car :( But luckily Mary's mom came by later and dropped it off for her.
Me and Grace ran up to the front row once we were inside and stayed there for The Matches, TSL, and about half of Yellowcard.
I almost got a set list and a pick but I missed both by like a person :(
OH well guess I was still there haha.
The Matches were loud and hilarious; and later me and Grace got to chillax with John the guy with the crazy blond afro.
He was awesome and was proud of me for crowd surfing.
Anyways; I'm getting ahead of myself.
After Yellowcard started playing their newer songs we decided to come back for the good oldies.
And so we left and ran into Mary and Emma who were *gaspedshock* getting along.A
And talking about their 19-yearold-friend-who recently moved from Kansas that helped them crowd surf.
And then I got to go up; the first time was when A.W.O.L. was playing and I got dropped, the girl who helped me up laughed and said "dont worry I fell here too" I ran back quick to Erick, Joseph, Emma, Mary, and Grace and went up again. I almost fell again but kept going and everyone cheered me on. God it really makes you feel like at a concert you're almost..part of a family.
The security guard at the front seemed all happy for me haha it was cool.
And then me and Grace switched bottoms so Grace could crowd surf (since she was wearing a skirt and I had pants) but she let me wear her thrice shirt haha.
Then we bought TSL shirts.
She got the white one with them in black and red, and I got the black one with cool red black and white design on it.
At first they gave me an adult medium on accident =/ So I had to get it exchanged for youth medium haha.
Then we changed into it. The bathroom stalls were ghetto; cigarettes in the toilets and all.
After that I crowd surfed to Life of a Salesman. Which was awesome because I did at the beginning of the song and that starts slow and gets faster and faster which is kind of what the energy did.
God but then we just walked around and talked to John from the matches *as I mentioned earlier* and like I said earlier too, he was proud of me for crowd surfing and seemed to think me and Grace were cool.
I didn't tell my mom about crowd surfing but I told her about me talking to John and she spazzed and was like "Sara, don't be a groupie!!!!!!!"
and I got mad/laughed.
Because she really doesnt know me at all.
One more thing: the guy from the matches had the best hair on earth.
Haha.
half was black half was blond.
It was really sweaty and in an odd faux hawk/dread locks doo.
'Twas awesome.
For a second I thought I saw Jayna =/ because I always seem to run into her at random parts but I figured it wasnt her...........since the girl was on the 18+ level.
Well. I have to go take a shower and study for social studies.
