Thanks to
bright_lilim for the following, which apparently investigates my friends and lists interests which they have and I don't.
Well, the concept is interesting.
Based on the lj interests lists of those who share my more unusual interests, the interests suggestion meme thinks I might be interested in
1.
harry potter score: 7 Actually, I don't care for HP particularly. But since I'm following
lightning_war , which I do like and whose players all used to be interested in HP, I suppose this one isn't surprising. I do try to keep up with HP to keep in touch with my grandkids.
2.
writing score: 6 I hate (and dread) writing. I could go on, but won't. But I love reading, and I love the perceptive comments that writers make about their craft, so this one isn't surprising, either.
3.
cats score: 5 Cats are nice. Even when they speak 133t. But I don't think I'll add them.
4.
history score: 5 Well, I don't want to be doomed to repeat it!
5.
doctor who score: 5 No. I admit, lots of friends love this. I have tried. Over the decades including very recently. No. Torchwood, I'm making progress on.
6.
classical music score: 4 Oh, yes! If only my ears still worked . . .
7.
reading score: 4 Yes - oversight on my part.
8.
dorothy l. sayers score: 4 Well, redundant to existing interest.
9.
chocolate score: 4 Ah. Hidden gold. But I think it will be better if I don't say so.
10.
sayers score: 4 More redundancy.
11.
wodehouse score: 4 Reasonable. I haven't been able to get there, but I try now and then.
12.
travel score: 4 Once in a while in my mind I go abumming . . . Not often physically.
13.
london score: 3 We had a chance one year, bought cross-country skies instead.
14.
agatha christie score: 3 I've read some.
15.
fanfic score: 3 I've read some and enjoyed it, will read more. Only a fraction of what's out there and good, simply due to human limitations.
16.
alan rickman score: 3 I think he's a character icon model in LW??
17.
lord peter wimsey score: 3 Redundancy.
18.
fanfiction score: 3 Redundant to 15
19.
tea score: 3 No. On occasion, but no. Black coffee. Strong black coffee.
20.
lois mcmaster bujold score: 3 Redundancy.

ixwinFind out more Well, I guess this shows that we don't all have to have corresponding interests to find each other interesting. I find that interesting. And reassuring.
