i'm sorry babe. but i kinda know where you're coming from. i never had proms or yearbooks or got to see friends every day or anything like that. i never even had a graduation party like my other siblings did. but honestly, fuck it. most people hate highschool either way so it's all good. try not to worry about it too much. like i always try to remember, something WAY worse could've happened if you'd had a normal highschool four years. any way ya say it it's cliche but...everything happens for a reason, and God has a plan.

and i love you, and it makes me happy that i earned a mention in your lj. <333

i don't think anyone has a "normal highschool experience." I mean how can four years of your life just be completely normal. How do you define normal anyway? There are plenty of overcrowded highschools in this area. There are plenty of people who don't go to prom or get senior pictures. I didn't get senior pictures. But it just doesn't matter, its not like I don't have hundreds of other pictures of myself (tux pictures included). none of that shit matters. It's not like 5, 10, 20, or 30 years from now you are going to wish you could have gone to your senior prom or taken senior pictures because of some life changing experience you missed out on. You'll have your memories, and other things to remember highschool.
