Sean's cousin passed away. I never met her, but she was only 22. So sad.
Sean posted this on a forum at about 8 this morning:
Last night, my cousin was lifeflighted about 2 hours from the hospital near her home to one in Pittsburgh. Apparently she had done some herion and OD'd. She blacked out in the bathroom and fell into a tub of water where her friends found her a little later. The next door neighbor started CPR to try and resuscitate her and the paramedics arrived. When she got to the hospital, they decided they needed to send her to Pittsburgh for her to have a chance, but they told my Aunt/other cousin that there wasn't much hope for her survival.
When I left you all (he was playing an online computer game) last night to go to the hospital to see her, the doctor gave us some awful news. At the moment, she appears to be braindead. And sometime this morning they expect to officially declare her to be dead.
She was only 22 years old, but she leaves behind a child of three, her parents, and 2 sisters. She was a good kid, that made a few mistakes in life, but she was really trying to turn her life around recently.
So for the second time in less than a year, my family goes through the loss of another loved one. We are a strong bunch, but the blows we have taken are unexpected and tragic.
I ask that if anyone here or if you know anyone on drugs or abusing some substrance, please get them help. This is just not how things are supossed to be. People shouldn't die in this way at this age, it is beyond tragic. I hope that no one loses anyone in this way ever again.
As for my cousin, for now they have said the circumstances of her death are suspicious. Alot of things don't really add up in the story police were told. And they will be investigating to see if there was any foul play.
I appologize if I bummed any of you out, but I wanted to let you all know what was going on with me and my family. Thanks for reading my post, and please pray for my cousin/family.

Sigh. I don't even know what to say.
