I attended a Remembrance Day ceremony earlier today. It was the first one I'd been to in many, many years. It was a beautiful day--the rain mercifully held off during the service--and the mood was sombre yet hopeful, as the songs of choirs and bands stirred emotion and tears.

Hahaha, so true! This has been in the back of my mind for sometime but i've been thinking the same thing. Everything is a photo-op, with the digital camera folks. Perhaps eliminating the cost of developing photos have eliminated restraint that is so desperately needed in this digital age.
