Icon Failure

I tried to work on making some new icons, now that I have Photoshop back on my computer. FAILURE! I have lost the touch, I fear. I don't know if it is just the fact that right now I am now using Photoshop Elements 8 rather than CS4 or if I suddenly just suck at making icons. I can't seem to get my pictures to come out clear at 100x100. I see other

Don't give up yet! After a long absence from icon making it's completely normal to have lost the ttouch a bit.
I would just suggest that you try a bit around and focus on simpler icons.
I never start differently than you when making icons so it can't be that.
Just dont give up and keep trying!

Thanks for the support! I do miss doing it, so that will keep me trying. Having to use PSE 8 is killing me though, but my CS4 isn't working. I just got a whole bunch of new pictures, so I am hoping that by the end of the weekend I will have a batch of something to post :)

That's wonderful then! :D I know how painful the transition from one programme to another is so I'll cross my fingers that you'll get used to it soon :)
