Attempt at some new Icons

My current obsession is Star Trek: Voyager and Kate Mulgrew. She does such an amazing job as Captain Kathryn Janeway - it just blows my mind. Also, she reminds me so much of Katharine Hepburn!! It is crazy. Ended up having to watch some classic Hepburn/Grant movies this weekend to break up my sci-fi marathon.

These hve really beautiful crops and I love the blending on the 2nd not 100x100 one!
My favourite is definitely the 3rd icon, because it has a really dreamerish atmosphere and the soft, pastel colouring really supports that!

Maybe you could try and give your icons more shadows and highlights? Often you can achieve a bit more contrast by simply copying your whole icon once and set it on soft light. When you find it too sharp now you can blur the layer a bit and in my opinion this is the key for every icon. Not that it must work for you of course and I really hope that you don't mind me saying this :/ (if you do mind, please tell me so and I'll deeply apoligise for it!)

Thank you so much! The two larger pictures were my attempt to work on a banner, but I got distracted. I love doing that kind of stuff. The 3rd icon is definitely my favorite too!! The original picture was beautiful to begin with, and I loved how this coloring came out.

As far as the pointers go - I LOVE feedback. Always feel free to give me ideas on how I could try something new or different. I do not mind. Thanks for commenting.

Voyager♥! Did you know that I was rewatching the show right now? I'm almost done with season 1. :)

These icons are really great. I love the cropping and colouring. I can assure you that you haven't lost your touch dear. ;) #2 and 3 are my favourites.

We are linked. We have been for a while, and I've stopped trying to prove it. ;)

Voyager is my favourite Trek! (With Deep Space 9 -- it depends on my mood actually, lol.) I finished watching the show maybe... one or two years ago? I don't remember exactly. I'm really happy you like it! And let me tell you, since you're on S4, that Seven of Nine gets cooler with every episode. Also THE Questions -- Any ships yet? ;)

Ships...
I have been shipping Janeway and Chakotay before I even ever saw ther show, and the fact that they don't end up together is killing me. I liked Kes and Neelix at first but then she got on my nerves. I keep going back and forth about Paris and Torres. They act too immature all the time. I do like Seven (quite a fan of Jeri Ryan) and am interested to see how much her character changes.
