Just to recap diary! A few days ago, Geo Metro was pulled into the city! He's been staying with us since Eagle abandon-- Left him in our care!

Now Eagle has been injured in his daring plan to escape the City. He tried plowing through the barrier or something like that but he didn't make it through.

In Hikaru's room... apparently

[ The first drowsy observations…
He was in bed… with a bandage on his cheek and some kind of wrapping around his chest…
Eagle raised his hand to glance at it… surprised for a moment that he could even complete an action like that. He wasn’t dead then…?

The Commander winced slightly, his injured ribs aching even from the simple action of raising his arm.
No, not dead… it hurt too much for this to be death…

But, why he felt he should be dead was for the moment forgotten in the haze…

More observations…
His weapons were gone but he was still wearing the black outfit that he usually wore.

Just where was he…? Eagle wondered as he looked around trying discover the answer to that question.]

Hikaru was situated in a nearby chair dozing lightly. She'd been trying to stay awake in case Eagle ever came around but this practice was wearing on her over time. It had been days since she had a truly decent sleep, but it's not like she would have complained about it. It would have been stranger if the sub-commander kept coming into her room for progress reports and someone had to stay with Eagle.

She'd readily volunteered, course now when he actually was coming around his nurse had fallen asleep.

[ Eagle was surprised to see Hikaru sitting there…
That must mean he was with the people from Cephiro… in the beach house?

The sounds of the ocean waves confirmed this revelation.

Did that mean he was a prisoner … or maybe a guest? Surely as a prisoner there would have been some kind of barrier or maybe a more alert guard?

Which ever, Eagle grit his teeth against the pain and attempted to stand before the young girl could awaken and stop him. But, the pain was too great and he gasped loudly… ]

Alerted by the sharp intake of air, Hikaru was awakened from her nap. Rubbing her eyes to relieve them of sleep she nearly fell out of the chair when she saw who was finally awake himself!

"You're awake!" The flame knight exclaimed happily, albeit a little more loudly than she had intended. Cupping a hand over her mouth she listened quietly for noises outside of the room. it sounded like they were okay. Then she whispered, "It's good to see your okay!".

Then she noticed his posture. "You weren't trying to get up were you? You mustn't move until you've had time to heal up a a bit more."

In any case, doesn't it sound lovely? The right answer is: yes.

Well it.. could be worse.

From 1 to 10, where 1 is an extra math class on a very long day, and 10 is a beautiful sojourn with yours truly in a remarkable castle - how bad is it?

W-w-what? [She is thrown off your ranking system, but recovers] I don't think anyone would be for extra math class except maybe Fuu..... maybe a 5?

[5 was just her way of not making a decision about it. When in doubt pick the middle number. If this was a curse, people might feel embarrassed when it was over, if the crushes were genuine then it was just fine!]

Well, I'm glad to hear it!

[Eeeeeeep! Not wholly unexpected but it's a bit disconcerting. Hikaru will just have to accept it when the time comes, she did willingly keep this information from them.]

So what have you been up to Presea? Have you been enjoying yourself here?

I'm new, but, yeah, I'm 90 percent sure all of this is one massively hilarious been there, done that kind of a curse. Happy I missed it.
