you must read this.
ok... so really early this morning was fucking nuts.
allison, davey, jon, katie, adam, and i went to sloss at about 1am. we get there, and the main gate is closed, which is unusual. but, the gate under the bridge is open. which is even more unusual. especially since there was a car parked in front. as we're walking, we see two flashlights at the other end of the overpass. so we turn ours on and shine it back and the other two turned off. as we got further down, near the two gates that actually go into sloss, we saw three people walking. they didn't look like they worked there or anything. however, they stopped and stared at us for a while as we were checking to see which gates were easier to climb between. finally they walked away, went back to their car and left. so the six of us all climb up the fence and force ourselves between the crack between the two halves of the gate and begin our expidition into sloss. now, keep in mind, i've been to sloss about 3 times before this.
anyway, we walk up behind the big furnace that's behind the stage and jon says he wants to climb to the top of it. so, we walk around to the otherside of it and walk out on this platform and hope over the fence and start walking on the concrete blocks placed inbetween these "L" shaped iron railing like things. it was like an old walkway with some blocks missing or broken and we get to the staircase to go up to the top of the furnace and he decides he doesn't want to go up, because the staircase is fucking steep and really scary. so we go back to the platform and go to leave in the sand back towards the stage when we here something on the ground in front of the stage fall or something. eitherway, it was a really loud noise. so we're all getting kinda weirded out. then davey and i hear someone cough and look over in the direction it came from and see the silhouette of someone standing there. and we freak out and are telling everyone there's someone standing there. and no one else saw it. but either way, we all backed back out onto the platform. and then davey says he sees something else moving, and we all look, and on the path below us, some guy is staggering around. which in itself is creepy enough. then, we notice he's carrying something. then, we notice it's a shovel or an axe or something. so we're like "um, fuck this." and we go to walk down the sand and katie shines her flashlight over were the first guy was and he isn't there but he had walked over to some stairs. so, we get down to the stage, and then just start running, because the guys were running after us. plus, someone cranked up a chainsaw. which was incentive enough for me to move like the fucking wind. we all run towards the fence, and i jump high enough to swing myself through. that's how scared i was. that's like a 6 foot high jump. then, allison does the same thing and we're over the fence. katie throws me her flashlight, and then i see the guy coming out of the main building. and i'm telling everyone he's coming, and before i know it, everyone is over the fence. but the guy stopped at this wall. then, some guy with those crutches that wrap around your arm came out from behind it and was all twitching and shit. it was nuuuuuuts. but afterwards i was so stoked it had happened. it made the night interesting.
so yeah. if you go to sloss and see people in the office and shit, be prepared to get scared shitless. it's a fucking blast.
