black and rasp berry as wild vines growing in the mountains here called a Loganberry for Judge Logan who crossed the breeds.

While we all agree the berries are sweet , they are treated more like an unwanted weed with thorns that just won't go away. blea.

Pies, jams, jellies, and ice cream and pancake toppers all wore thin due to the weediness of them, So now we just grow Weed. ;)

I have not planted small fruits yet, but did get tired of battling the wild blackberries, and left a few patches that I could keep cleaned up around, and I pick and use them. They taste so much better than the big pretty store bought blackberries! They are also good with muddled with whiskey.
