Fall 2006 GTSO Shirt, Beta

Emily sent me her draft of the "That's All, Buzz" design that we're going for this year, and I vectorized it this evening in Illustrator. The slogan was Ron's idea, though I think it's a little goofy. I'm also not sure of the exact specifications regarding color use, size, and placement on the shirt. Adobe is all about making things non-intuitive. That's why it's a "professional" product. If everyone could use it, the price tag wouldn't be so huge and elite.

The red color makes me think of the beginning and end of old Looney Tunes cartoons.

Haha, excellent - I should have mentioned it, but that's exactly what we were going for. Thus, the "That's All, Buzz" name, rather than "That's All, Folks!"

That gradient is going to cost you guys a fair amount to put on a shirt, at least if you go through the same company we went through when I designed them. The base price got us 2 colors, and for the red GTSO shirt, we actually paid extra for a 3rd.

I do like the idea, though--but I agree that it's a surprisingly cheesy tagline. Then again, that's Ron for you, huh? ;o)
