In case anyone was wondering, Comcast has been confused about my service transfer and they disconnected my internet yesterday, so that's why Hydrous is down. Their customer service has been friendly though ineffective so far, but hopefully I'll get a good discount when it eventually starts working properly ( Read more... )

ah ha! that explains it. :) i called comcast last week to see if i could continue to get the same discount on the triple play package that i have been getting (it was supposed to last only a year, and i'm reaching the end of that year). i was surprised how easy it was to persuade them. some of the things working in my favor (i think): the fact that i always pay my bills on time, and the fact that they are still rolling out digital voice so i guess they don't want to lose any customers subscribing to that service. anyway, i hope you have good luck in getting a discount too!
