Alright. I give up. If anyone would care to explain whatever holiday this is supposed to be, I would appreciate it.

It's an annual. . . American holiday, it's supposed to be about giving thanks but th-this! ( just pointing at the turkey. ) Is not how it's supposed to be, but considering this is Mayfield. I'm not really surprised.

A day of 'thanksgiving' is a day of fasting and prayer. Usually in church.

How exactly did the Americans manage to turn it into such a strange tradition?

It all came about from when the Pilgrims in the New World gave thanks to God when they managed to survive the terrible winter. It was a big feast where the Pilgrims and the Native population came together. . .

But like I said, there usually wasn't turkey stuffed with teeth involved.
