Jake came home from school pretty melancholy today. One of his classmates told him today that Doctor Who isn't real. :( It really made him feel terrible. This lead to him saying that everyone in his class is smarter than he is. :( :( Which was followed up by him telling us that he doesn't have any friends

You tell him to believe if he wants. People who don't believe never get to ride in the TARDIS, and do those kids have proof that he isn't real? No, I think not.

Smog goes through this kind of thing often. Parenting the bright ones isn't for weenies, that's for sure!
