Vacation of Critters

I’ve lived in New York City since I was nine years old, land of concrete and glass and steel. But I’ve been spending a few days in full-on Critterworld, aka Fire Island, and just until tomorrow, I get to pretend that I’m really outdoorsy.

I'm leaving you with a partially-used bottle of red nail polish (just found some!), biting black flies, a burned out light bulb and a couple good books.
What do you say we meet up in a couple weeks for sandwiches without actual sand in them, a blow-out and ice cream open after eight o'clock?
