If I were to get married in the next six months, my bridal party would consist of me and one other..maybe two others, max. I think that's kinda sad.

Oh, and I was just informed that I'm not a bridesmaid in my "best friend's" wedding. Lovely. I was surprised.

Think on the positive side--at least this way, you don't have to shell out money for a bridesmaid dress.

The one time I had a friend get married that I assumed would ask me to be a bridesmaid and didn't, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Looking back now, you couldn't pay me to be part of that wedding.

This reply is sooo delayed..I know. You're absolutely right. I've already had to put out a lot of $$ for my cousin's wedding that I'm going to be in. Plus, my friend told me what the dresses look like..and I don't think it would be for me.
