Let me just start by saying, this isn't a "Friendly" post. This is a selfish, perhaps even nasty post. So.

Out of the many "problems" a person might have, I suppose this would be one a few people would be willing to share with you; too many friends and not enough time. You're very fortunate to have good people who want to spend time with you. Not everyone is that lucky.

I didn't get a nasty vibe from this post, but it sounds like you're trying to communicate your needs indirectly rather than directly. You're posting here, maybe hoping the very people you're addressing will stumble upon it and recognize themselves as the ones putting these demands on you. Maybe it's time to start saying "no thanks" to a few of those invitations. If they're really your friends, they'll understand. If they know you really well, they probably won't even have to ask why.

Hmmm... I'm curious who posted this.... I'm Certainly not one to take the passive-aggressive route when dealing with an issue like this. Or any issue for that matter. I really take issue with Anyone who chooses to deal with their issues in a backhanded (passive-aggressive) way. For any one of my friends that have access to this journal would Not be the ones I feel "obligated" to spend time with.
