First, to business. XM radios are apparently much more fragile than they appear. After leaving one in the sun for half an hour, I discover that it no longer receives a signal, and whatever white noise I can hear comes from a single speaker. Methinks electronics will never be my strong suit. If I can break something after only owning it for a month

Hey, got the voicemail. Cell reception really sucks in the rooms here in CA. Training is going well. My yellow lab, Rita, is a little fireball. She snuggles in the mornings and goes tearing down streets. She's smart: sometimes smart enough to know I don't know what the hell I'm doing and use it to her advantage. Read: running in circles to get back to the fenced in free run area. I am also frustrated and disillusioned. People who shouldn't be here have stayed for too long, and one of tem got 2 instructors for the entire day to go to his apartment. He still can't find his way out to the bus and is working on building aggression in his second dog of the session. So, nonviolent me would like to punch him in the face. Instead, I burst into tears out of sheer frustration from losing my primary instructor to a loser jackass. Good times
