I've had my lj for 3 years now, but I didn't write in it for at least the first 6 months I had it. It took a lot of convincing by friends and a lot of reading other friends' posts to get me to post. Three years later, I still only average a post a week. Introverts of the 'net unite!

Gregarious people must be more comfortable with the whole group thing, but I feel like I'm giving a speech to the room.
I'm with you on this one, Nat. However, the teacher in me loves to generate discussion, so I really do enjoy it when something I have asked or pointed out gets people going.
I'm also terminally nosy, so I love to read what's going on in my friends' lives. On the other hand, my life is so humdrum that I rarely have anything of interest to write about, so I too am more of a reader than a poster.
