It's impossible to put into words how I feel about the response to this disaster. People are dying in the streets from lack of water, food, medical attention and shelter. Good grief. The neighbors on both sides of me have decided to whip out their lawnmowers, and another down the block has chosen this afternoon to tune up his motorcycle. Bad news. Nameless was not fated to be mine. I spent quite awhile filling out forms to adopt her on Monday and was to pick her up on Thursday after she'd been spayed.
