I thought you were different. I guess not.
I should've known not to trust you, should have known that just because I'm back now you won't make space in your heart for me again the way you did before.
I never learn, do I? Stupid friend stays stupid best friend and that's all.
Part of me is sad but another part is happy that maybe my heart's finally escaped your grip. All I needed to do was get hit in the face with reality I guess.
I wish pain wasn't the only way out but I guess it helped in this case. I hope you'll never read this and keep going the way you have but at least this time around I'll know to lock my heart up around you.
