Funerals

I just came back from Jesse Caper's funeral and I can honestly say that, despite the fact that I've never actually met the guy, it was still an emotional experience. 21 year olds don't deserve to die, younger sisters should not have to sing at their older brothers memorial service when they are still a teenager, mothers should nvr bury their sons ( Read more... )

Anie, you said it perfectly. Life is entirely to short. No one is sure when it is "our time to go" and I still cannot believe that Jesse is gone. He was one of the few people in this world who actually seemed to be living their life and not just being alive...I am not sure if that last part will make sense to anyone else. But, it made a ton of sense to me. I mean, there is a difference between waking up everymorning and dreading the day as opposed to waking up and living it to the fullest. Jesse ACTUALLY lived!!

Niki,

I don't talk to Sara regularly but she sung at the service. It was obviously a very emotional experience for her and her family. I pray for the family as well, Jesse was too young to die.
