Today was the first day back from winter break. At my chef school (not cooking school), if you want to earn your associates degree in the Le Courdon Bleu Culinary Arts, you have to be well rounded. You can't just cook well, or have great cooking skills, but you have to be adept in the business area, as well. Marketing, managing, etc. So, you won't ( Read more... )

As for english, hooray for english classes. Make sure to mention if it is awesome :D

ursula is anorexic oh noes

Also you could just temporarily quit working at Macy's. If they'll let you work again after the semester ends, that would be pretty good. Job security is nice, eh

Also I have become extremely biased against organic foods because I had to drink an entire crate of organic juice a few months ago. It tasted terrible.

I wouldn't be so biased; while organic eggs, for example, might cost a bit more than regular ones (about a dollar more for an egg carton?), they can have as much protein in one organic as eight regular eggs combined. And they taste the same.

Well, maybe you don't like eggs. But having such an incredible amount of protein in your three-egg breakfast omelette will give you energy to last pretty far in the day.

Now I'm hungry...

Sorry about the rambling...

Ask about that in three weeks. I'll be back in the kitchen then, probably in butchery class. Don't know about the bread, or lettuce, or condiments, but they will have lots of red meat. Like rabbits. Rabbit sandwich..?

You should've taken a picture of it, or have someone else take a picture of it before throwing it away, so we could laugh at it too :[

Free pastries. That sounds... pretty damn awesome.

As for the job, are you getting too little hours to your liking, or theirs? If it's yours, you can just keep working there until you find something better. Although I eventually quit my job when I couldn't make enough hours to earn a decent salary there... Either way, there's no rush, right?

That could've made this entry more interesting, but I have no camera, and we aren't allowed to have such things in class anyway, unfortunately...

It is. I didn't really find any pastries today though. They had a whole assortment of soups instead. Like noodle soups, bean soups, etc.

It's basically their liking, I guess. I'm not exactly complaining since the small schedule doesn't interfere with my school time, but I don't get many hours, and I could use the free time...

No rush, but it was just something that I was wondering about.

But Izze is better than something like Code Red, or Mountain Dew. :)

I'm sorry too.

You could live on a stick, you fencepost.
