(no subject)
Mom died on Friday, March 27, 2009, a bit after 6am. She wasn't pronounced dead until about 8:30am.
That is around 2 hours time where she was undead. Not certain what type of undead though since she didn't fit the normal zombie or vampire profile.
She had a massive heart attack on March 19th while I was in California. It took the paramedics 6 minutes to arrive and over 20 minutes to get her back and stabilized enough to move her. She was in a coma afterwards and never came out of it.
It still hasn't fully hit me yet. I've been busy dealing with administrative crap and have been distracting myself with the interweb and WoW and Tivo and other stuff the rest of the time.
Going back to work on Monday, no idea how that is going to go. Still need to compile list of assets and debts to relay to the attorney when I meet with him. And start organizing the documents that I scanned in. I feel I should be doing something more to provide support of some sort for her partner but I have nothing to offer. All I can do right now is handle the adminstrative tasks so she doesn't have to, and unfortunately I can't even do all of those due to the way mom setup her beneficiaries.
