Pretty much what I'm doing now, except with more travel and maids to do the chores I don't want to.

Yup, I am just getting over my THIRD sick in the span of two months, which is most unlike me. I ususally get to haughtily snort at my sick friends for having such poor immune systems. I think there is some weird mojo in the world that is whomping up the pathogens: this flu seems to be devastating everybody, and at the same time I'm hearing more and more about drug-resistant staph and TB and all that. Kind of scary if you ask me ( ... )

I keep thinking about this one. In the short term, we'd both quit our jobs and hire a part-time nanny, and live like every day was the weekend. Lots of sleeping in, watching movies, hiking and jogging for me. We'd do some traveling, go see Alaska and Hawaii and some gorgeous old buildings in Europe, plus friends and family around the country. After a few years of that though, I imagine I'd be jonesing for a project. One obvious one is to buy some land, start a nursery, and do native plant restoration. Another possibility is to get involved with a vineyard/winery (maybe I could get grandmoffdavid to consult). And The Man's always wanted a neo-Victorian mansion: I imagine that either having one built or renovating one could be pretty time-consuming.
