Google Chrome Browser

I just went through the web comic for the new Google Chrome Browser, and it's a complete no-brainer for me. Switching from an open to a process-level memory protection scheme is the same reason I switched from the Mac to Windows 2000 back in 1999-2000 ( Read more... )

...and tab process isolation is the same reason I just switched to the IE8 Beta last week. So far, I'm a very happy camper.

I for one endorse all technical documentation for end users in the form of comics...

Y'know, that's a really good point. Even if Chrome and IE8 have the same features, I bet IE8 isn't going to do anything to make people *excited* about it.

They will, however, hang huge banners about it all over the campus on launch day. Because, of course, how else would we ever find out?

I didn't see the comic book. I need to look that up. I've had great luck with Chrome so far, and use most of the time, except for a few sites that require Internet Exploder.
