So a couple weeks ago I got called out by saanich SAR to help Juan de Fuca SAR on a search for a missing dog-walker out at china beach. I was just sitting down for class on Monday morning when i got the call. It's pretty exciting getting called out...I really wish we got more of those! It worked out well that I was in school, and that I didn't have

I've always thought search and rescue would be a neat thing to get into.. Your description of that search is quite cryptic, so of course I now want to know everything.

I'm excited about Vegas! I'm glad you and Tash are planning on going, I hadn't thought of that part yet, I bet you're fun in Vegas :)

I'll send you an email or something with a few more details, san. Over-all, despite the negative outcome of the search, it was a pretty good day for us searchers.

The last time I went to vegas, for 3 days, I got drunk each night, but "loser drunk" on the 2nd night. It resulted in my puking in a planter out front of the Paris hotel, then blacking out until 3am when I woke up in my hotel room unsure of how I got there...
Yeah that's right, I'm a blast in Vegas!
