take me or leave me

You can't always have it your way.

Accept me, love me, for who I am, or go away.

Sorry. Had to get that out...Dave Matthews's music always fills me with such emotion. Each song a different feeling...absolute happiness, depression, nostalgia, etc. It's all good.

I'm reading Diary right now to. I'm having trouble getting into it though.
I've read all of his other books...have you read Invisible Monsters yet?

By the way, guess who decided to try and catch up on people's journals today? ;-)

I had a hard time getting into it too, I didn't really until she started painting again (the one of the chair, if you know which part I mean). And yes, Invisible Monsters was the first one I read by him...I read the first chapter in the book store and fell in love with it.

I knew you were trying to catch up because I looked at my email inbox and saw not one but 4 emails from LJ telling me that I someone had replied to my posts.

Thank you! ;-*

Haven't gotten to the painting yet. I'm up to the point where she is talking about her painting earlier in life...I think. Truth be told, I put it down for a bit so I could finish Neverwhere by Neil Giamon. (spelling)
So I'm trying to decide if I want to finish that or read 1984.

Oh, how about Fight Club? That's where I got started after the movie. (My absolute favorite movie by the way. Used to be A Christmas Story, but Fight Club was love at first sight.)

Yep, Fight Club was my second (I saw the movie and hated it at first, but at the same time I was fascinated by it, so I watched it again and really enjoyed it), and I thought it was better than the movie, actually.

A Christmas Story is a wonderful movie as well.
