Covering the Bases
Part Twelve - Out on an Infield Fly
Wolfram - *they ride for a while/eventually a light flurry of snow starts to fall/Wolfram looks up at the sky and notes the thickening gray clouds, a flake of snow falling to land on his already numb nose/he sneezes lightly*
Yuuri - *frowns up at the sky/but not missing the sneeze/mumbles* "Any idea on how close the next village is? We're probably going to have to stay there..."
Wolfram - *shakes his head, feeling a little nervous about still being outside in what appears to be the middle of nowhere* "I don't know, Yuuri. I forgot to bring a map."
Yuuri - *sputters again/shakes his head* "Okay... Well... That might be a bit of a problem... "
Wolfram - "But as long as we stay on any of the roads, whether it's a main road or one of the back ones, we should be coming across a village or two every few hours. Although..." *looks at the blanket of snow on the ground* "It's a little difficult to tell if we're even on a road..."
Yuuri - *whimpers a little* "We're lost..."
Wolfram - *tries not to show how nervous he is* "We're not lost. We're near the northern border, judging by those mountains." *nods to the mountains that are still visible in the distance, that they've been riding parallel to* "We should be able to find at least a small village or some sort of an outpost."
Yuuri - *stares at him* "Some sort of an outpost...??" *mouths wordlessly at him for a moment before turning back to the road... er... what they hoped was a road* "Okay... This isn't a problem... We'll just have to keep an eye out for... a small village... or some sort of outpost..." *bitter again/mostly because he was hoping Wolfram would be able to get the bath he wanted... and a better place to sleep....*
Wolfram - *continues riding, the snow starting to fall a little heavier and in larger flakes/he's hungry, tired, and he still feels extremely gross, but he's much too stubborn to say anything/plus, he doesn't want Yuuri to start panicking*
Yuuri - *frowning again up at the sky before glancing over at Wolfram* "Are you okay...?"
Wolfram - "Yes."
Yuuri - *sighs*
Wolfram - *doesn't want to elaborate, because if he did Yuuri would start whining about stopping, and so far there didn't seem to be any place to stop at*
Yuuri - *continues riding then/snow starting to get heavier and the wind doesn't seem to be ready to stop any time soon/glances nervously over at Wolfram about... every three seconds*
Wolfram - *starts shivering a little, but tries his hardest to hide it/there isn't much they can do about it at the moment anyway/it starts getting a little harder to see through the snow, and he begins to wonder if maybe they should have just stayed behind at the cave*
Yuuri - *caves in* "Are you okay?!"
Wolfram - *nods and forces himself to remain smiling, though he was absolutely miserable* "Yes, I'm fine. What about you? Are you okay?"
Yuuri - *rolls his eyes* "I'm fine!" *Okay... he was cold and so very close to freaking out about Wolfram being out in the cold without having had anything decent to eat, but he was trying to hide that... at least for now/getting frustrated with himself* "Shouldn't I be able to... I don't know! Stop the weather??" *hasn't really tried any magic in a while other than training... much less in dealing with stuff like the wind and snow*
Wolfram - *glances at him skeptically* "I don't know anyone who's able to control the weather, Yuuri. Just... be patient. We'll be fine."
Yuuri - *grumbles, not even bothering to keep it under his breath this time*
Wolfram - *keeps riding/the snow goes through periods of lightening up and getting heavier/the suns starts to set, but with how thick the clouds have become it's hardly noticeable/he sighs lightly and ignores his hunger, which has only grown worse since they left the cave/the skin of his face is staring to sting badly from the billowing wind*
Yuuri - *growls/more to himself* "We're stopping at the next sign of shelter... This is getting ridiculous..."
Wolfram - *starting to grow frustrated* "Well, in case you haven't noticed, there is no sign of shelter!"
Yuuri - "Obviously!"
Wolfram - *doesn't answer, just glares at the snow*
Yuuri - *remains silent for a while/trying to ignore the sting of the wind and snow and cold in general/glances worriedly over at Wolfram* "I'm sorry... I shouldn't have....." *trails off*
Wolfram - "'Shouldn't have' what?"
Yuuri - *winces/feeling even more guilty than he had been* "I shouldn't have taken my frustrations out on you..."
Wolfram - "Whatever. Just... just keep your eyes open."
Yuuri - *nods/turns back to search for any sign of a village or something*
Wolfram - *grumbles under his breath about the cold and stupid wimps*
Yuuri - *wind picks up a little more, along with the snow... and it's getting darker/very tempted to try and do something... anything! to make it stop a bit* "Do.... do you see anything?"
Wolfram - "If I did, I'd tell you!"
Yuuri - *winces again* "Sorry..."
Wolfram - *doesn't know what else to say/extremely worried about being stuck in the worsening storm, at night, in the freezing cold/feels stupid for not thinking to bring a map/mentally kicks himself*
Yuuri - *squints through the continuing dark and thickening snow at a small, black object coming up a little ways off the road/notices it's shaped like a tiny little house of some sort, probably abandoned* "H-hey...."
Wolfram - *kinda pissy now, his previous mood almost completely gone* "What?"
Yuuri - *points off the road at the small house they were coming up to* "Shelter..."
Wolfram - *peers through the snow to stare at it/instantly relieved* "Oh..."
Yuuri - *sighs at the short answer, but slows his horse down anyway to go investigate/looked like a tiny, one room house with one broken window in the front, but the door looked intact/the structure looked sturdy enough and there wasn't too much damage to the roof/chimney was tilting a bit away from the back wall, but it looked okay to use/sighs again, louder this time, but it was better than nothing* "It's probably abandoned... Sorry, but this will have to do until the storm passes..."
Wolfram - *snorts* "What are you apologizing for? Do you honestly think I'd rather stay out in this? This is the exact reason why I do not like snow." *slows his horse, finally getting a good, long look at their prospective shelter* "It can't be any worse than that crappy bed last night, anyway."
Yuuri - *pouts a little* "It wasn't that bad..." *dismounts and leads his horse ahead of Wolfram to check it out/knocks on the door first, then when there's no answer pushes the door open/winces lightly at the bits of dust that falls from the ceiling , but luckily there was only one small hole in the roof in the back corner that had a small pile of snow underneath it/only one window with ragged curtains still hanging in front to keep the snow and cold out/there was another door on the other side of the tiny, empty fireplace to lead out back/a small, broken table in another corner, and a lump of what looked like blankets spread out in another/sighs again, but relieved to be able to get out of the cold* "Well... No one in here..." *gets out of the way for Wolfram to go ahead of him, holding out his hand for the reigns to his horse*
Wolfram - *slides out of the saddle/about to argue with him over it, but eventually hands him the reigns, figuring it wouldn't be worth the resulting argument/walks into the tiny little... shack... and starts to look around, wrinkling his nose and placing his hands on his hips* "Of course there's no one here! Who would honestly want to stay here unless they were on the run and caught in a storm?"
Yuuri - *rolls his eyes, carefully leading the horses in behind him and shutting the door/surprised by how quiet it was after blocking out most of the wind/glances over at Wolfram* "You need to eat..."
Wolfram - "Whatever..." *continues looking around, peering into all the corners, a little nervous to discover the creepy little things that may be hiding away in there*
Yuuri - *sighs, watching as the horses move to stand in the only empty corner/goes over to them and pulls out some of the food left from Wolfram's unfinished meal and tosses it over to him* "I'm gonna look for some firewood... You stay and eat..."
Wolfram - *turns to him/catches the food, then glares at his suggestion* "I will not. You're not going out there alone."
Yuuri - *grins* "What? You scared of being in here by yourself?"
Wolfram - "No! I'm afraid of you doing something stupid, or getting lost, or getting randomly attacked - it's happened before - or hurting yourself!"
Yuuri - *laughs* "You worry too much. I'll be fine." *makes his way - all three steps - around the horses that now took up most of the empty space to the door*
Wolfram - *starts to follow him/glares at him* "I'm going with you."
Yuuri - *lets out a frustrated sigh/not wanting to fight with him, but really not wanting him to be out in the cold any longer* "Just.... Fine... but don't go digging through the snow... You're only going to watch from the door to make sure I don't get lost or whatever..."
Wolfram - *chooses not to agree to whatever Yuuri 'demands' that he do, but doesn't disagree with it either because he doesn't want Yuuri to get all pissy about it* "How do you expect to find anything good for burning anyway. It'll all be wet."
Yuuri - *frowns, trying to think/pulls the door open to head back out in the wind and snow* "Well... I'm not sure... But maybe we'll get lucky..."
Wolfram - *huffs, but then starts shoving the food he'd been given into his mouth, chewing quickly and swallowing/follows him out/snorts* "We haven't had much luck so far..."
Yuuri - *glances over his shoulder after staring out into the white for a few moments* "What happened to that optimism from before?"
Wolfram - *continues to glare at him* "It died."
Yuuri - *sighs* "Oh...." *pauses, then turns to smile at him* "Don't worry... I'll figure out something. It can't be too hopeless, right?"
Wolfram - "I didn't say it was hopeless." *shoves more of the food into his mouth, chews, then swallows* "Just highly uncomfortable."
Yuuri - *frowns/somber* "Sorry... It'll can only get better though..." *moves out into the snow and wind, following the wall around the little house to check for any kind of pile of wood, even if it's not dry*
Wolfram - *trails behind him, still eating* "That's what you say. I, however, am not as much of an idealist as you. It could get better, but it could also get much worse."
Yuuri - *grumbles lightly, brushing through the snow with his foot/surprised when he actually kicked what felt like a small pile of wood/quickly squats down to brush off the snow/turns to grin up at the blond* "See? It can only get better."
Wolfram - "Hmph! Try to burn it."
Yuuri - *tries not to let his grin falter/only manages to look pained* "Well... after it dries out some, it'll be good to burn... some of the ones in the middle should still be mostly dry."
Wolfram - *grumbles under his breath and finishes off his food* "I'm not going to argue with you, because every time I try I hardly get through to you anyway. You think we're okay for now, but just you wait. Something else will happen and then you won't be so optimistic anymore."
Yuuri - *forces himself to laugh/starts brushing off and gathering up a few logs* "You really need to look at the brighter side of things at times like this."
Wolfram - *his hands go back to his hips* "And what bright side is there? It's dark, it's cold, I haven't had a bath since yesterday morning, and look at where we're forced to stay the night."
Yuuri - *gazes at him for a moment before actually smiling* "Well... I'm just glad you're with me..."
Wolfram - "You wouldn't even be out here if I weren't with you. You'd be back at the castle, which means I would be back at the castle, with a bath and a warm bed and not smelling of horses."
Yuuri - *shakes his head, still smiling* "That's true... Sorry..." *goes back to focusing on gathering up as many logs as he could, in hopes of finding some that were sort of dry, into his arms/stands up and starts to make his way back to Wolfram and the door*
Wolfram - *grumbles again* "Don't apologize, wimp. This was my idea in the first place." *moves to assist him* "Let me help you."
Yuuri - *winces lightly under the weight of the several logs/stares down at Wolfram, opening his mouth to refuse his help, but then nods and leans down some for him to take a few off the top* "Thanks..."
Wolfram - *rolls his eyes at him and takes half of what he has, moving to the side for him to finish making his way back into the little... shack*
Yuuri - *leads the way back to the little cabin thing, pausing inside to let Wolfram past him before kicking the door shut with his foot/moves over to the little fireplace to lay out the wood, turning some over to check just how wet they were*
Wolfram - *squats down and places his own stack of wood next to Yuuri's pile, frowning as he inspects them* "I told you. They won't burn well."
Yuuri - *forces himself to grin, looking pained again* "Well... if we leave them alone for a bit they should be fine..."
Wolfram - *sighs, exasperated*
Yuuri - *shakes his head, turning to look at him* "I'm sorry... This is mostly my fault we're here..."
Wolfram - *shakes his head at him* "It's not. It was my idea to run away."
Yuuri - *cringes a little/mumbles very quietly* "Y-yeah... but it was my fault for... kinda hoping... to get stuck in the storm like this.... I'm horrible..."
Wolfram - *glares at him, slightly confused* "Why in the world would you want to get stuck in a shack in the middle of nowhere in a storm?"
Yuuri - *cringes again/still mumbling* "B-because it meant I would be with you.... And... yeah.... It sounded nice in my head at first, but I guess I was only thinking about myself and not how much you would hate it..." *even quieter* "I'm sorry...."
Wolfram - *fails to really understand his logic, but figures it was the thought that counted anyway* "You'd be with me no matter where we were. If we hadn't gotten lost, we could have been in another village by now, in a nice, warm bath." *doesn't realize he's actually admitted that they were irrevocably lost/feels extremely stupid for not remembering to grab a map before they left the castle*
Yuuri - *chooses to ignore how he admitted to getting lost/pokes at the logs some* "Oh.... Yeah, you're right... I'm sorry..."
Wolfram - "Stop apologizing, wimp. How many times do I have to tell you that? And how many times do I have to ask you how many times do I have to tell you that? Just..." *shakes his head, forcing his pessimism away* "We'll be fine."
Yuuri - *slowly nods his head* "I guess...." *not feeling too hopeful about it at the moment/they were in the middle of nowhere in a storm with no wood to burn* "...." *pauses, then gets back up, moving over to the broken table, holding onto the top while he kicked off one of the legs*
Wolfram - *glances up at him in surprise* "You..."
Yuuri - *blinks, glancing over his shoulder, still holding onto the table top* "Hmm?"
Wolfram - "I..." *doesn't really know what to say* "I guess you're not completely helpless."
Yuuri - *rolls his eyes/trying hard to force back his grin, but is unable to* "Thanks..." *replaces the table top on the ground, still holding up one end to try and split the boards apart*
Wolfram - "Do..." *slowly stands to his feet* "Do you want me to help you?"
Yuuri - *blinks at him, absentmindedly still grinning* "Sure..." *stands back to hold the edge of the table just a bit off of the ground* "Jump on it..." *pauses, then quickly adds* "But be careful... I don't want you to hurt yourself..."
Wolfram - *looks at him strangely, but does as he says*
Yuuri - *falls backwards some as the old table split/laughs* "Nice..." *gets back up to hold onto one of the longer boards, holding it in a similar way as before* "Just try stepping on it this time... The wood is old..."
Wolfram - *huffs a bit, but steps on it* "Is this you trying to tell me something?"
Yuuri - *blinks at him/confused* "What do you mean?"
Wolfram - *smirks at him/teasing* "Maybe I really should go on a diet..."
Yuuri - *eyes go a little wider* "N-no! You're fine! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it to sound like that! The wood is just old!"
Wolfram - *sighs at him* "I'm joking, Yuuri."
Yuuri - *stares at him for a moment then pouts, glancing away to gather up the smaller pieces of wood/stands back up to move to throw them into the little fire place, then leans down into it, making sure there was an open path for the smoke to go*
Wolfram - *puts his hand on his hips again, watching him/shakes his head* "What is with you and not being able to take a joke today?"
Yuuri - *lifts his head up to look at him and successfully manages to hit it against the stone/winces, ducking back down to slide back out* "Well... I... I don't know...."
Wolfram - "Wimp." *moves a little closer to him, slightly concerned but not enough to show it* "Don't split your head open. There's no one who can help us all the way out here."
Yuuri - *rubs at his head, moving back enough to flick his wrist, lighting the fire* "I'll try to keep that in mind..."
Wolfram - *sighs in slight relief at the fire* "Just be careful."
Yuuri - *nods, sitting on the floor next to the fire, staring into it for a moment before looking back up at him/worried* "Are you okay? Do you want me to get you anything?"
Wolfram - "I'm fine." *sits down next to him* "What about you? Are you hungry again? It's been a few hours since you last ate."
Yuuri - *shakes his head* "I'm fine..." *pauses to stare at him for a moment before sliding his hand around Wolfram's waist to pull him closer* "You're cold... aren't you?"
Wolfram - "Not extremely." *chooses not to mention anything about his obsession again, but does spare a smile at the hand along his waist*
Yuuri - *nods, though still worried/reaches his other hand up to brush at the blond's bangs some* "I'll get you to a bath tomorrow if it kills me... I don't want you to be uncomfortable at all..."
Wolfram - *pouts a bit* "It wouldn't kill you to think about yourself a little, too. I can't imagine the bed was very comfortable for you last night, and in here..." *looks around the room, wrinkling his nose again*
Yuuri - *smiles at him, leaning in to kiss his temple* "The bed was fine... And it's not so bad in here..."
Wolfram - *raises an eyebrow* "Not so bad...?"
Yuuri - *nods, still smiling* "It could be worse. The roof could have been caved in, the door not completely on right, the chimney broken... I say we were pretty lucky."
Wolfram - "I say this is only the beginning..." *still pouting, hoping things didn't get any worse, but knowing they very easily could*
Yuuri - *laughs lightly, leaning to kiss him again* "If you say so..."
Wolfram - *grumbles* "I do say so. And I'm usually right."
Yuuri - *laughs again* "Of course... Now is there anything you would like me to get you? Are you hungry? Cold? Tried?"
Wolfram - "Hmmm..." *thinks about it for a second* "I guess I'm still a little hungry." *looks up at him with a tiny smirk* "You can feed me again if you want, since you got interrupted earlier."
Yuuri - *smiles* "Sure... Hold on..." *pulls back to stand up, moving over to the horses to pull out some food/pauses a little longer to dig through the bags to find some veggies for the horses to munch on, then makes his way back over to the fire/sits down behind the blond to pull him backwards into his chest, wrapping his arm around his waist again and setting the food on his leg/pauses for a second before asking* "Is this okay? If you're uncomfortable... I can move..."
Wolfram - *smiles at him and nods* "This is fine."
Yuuri - *lets out a small sigh of relief then breaks off a bit of bread to hold up to the blond's lips* "Open..."
Wolfram - *opens his mouth*
Yuuri - *rolls his eyes and places the piece against his tongue/buries his face into his hair a bit*
Wolfram - *chews and swallows, then opens his mouth for more*
Yuuri - *breaks off another piece to feed him* "See...? It isn't so bad..."
Wolfram - "What isn't?"
Yuuri - *smiles* "Being here..."
Wolfram - "You say that now..."
Yuuri - *laughs lightly* "But you're with me... That's all that matters..." *places the bread against his lips for him to take*
Wolfram - *opens, chews, swallows* "But as nice as it is to be with you, something's bound to go wrong... not that it hasn't gone wrong already..."
Yuuri - *shakes his head at him* "Have some faith... I won't let anything bad happen to you..." *breaks off another piece, moving it to his lips again*
Wolfram - *continues eating* "It's not me I'm worried about."
Yuuri - *blinks at him/feeds him again* "What....? You're not worried about me, I hope..."
Wolfram - *eats again* "Of course I am. What if something happens to you out here?"
Yuuri - *shakes his head/feeding him again* "Nothing is going to happen to me... And I'm not the one to worry over..." *unconsciously tightens his hold around the blond*
Wolfram - *rolls his eyes as he takes the food and swallows* "You're the king. Of course you should be worried over. If something happens to you, Gwendal will kill me."
Yuuri - *laughs/breaks off some more food and feeds him* "I may be a wimp, but I can at least defend myself and you.... Nothing is going to happen to me... And I won't let anything happen to you... And Gwendal can go knit something..."
Wolfram - *chews and swallows* "Yuuri, be serious. It's dangerous out here. Any number of things could happen, some that I may not be able to deal with properly."
Yuuri - *shakes his head once more/feeds him again* "I am being serious. You need to stop worrying so much... It'll be bad for the baby..."
Wolfram - *pulls Yuuri's hand away from his face, looking up at him seriously* "There probably isn't any baby to worry over yet. It was only the first time, Yuuri."
Yuuri - *sighs, gazing back at him* "But you don't know that..."
Wolfram - "Chances are there isn't. It could take months, even years."
Yuuri - *watches him, shaking his head* "But there's still a chance that there is... "
Wolfram - "A very small chance."
Yuuri - *smiles at him* "Better than nothing."
Wolfram - *scowls at him* "You're so..."
Yuuri - *blinks/getting ready to cringe* "Y-yes...?"
Wolfram - "Do you even live in the real world, or are you constantly consumed by some fantasy you've concocted in your head?"
Yuuri - *pouts a little* "It doesn't hurt to dream.... Sometimes they come true... "
Wolfram - "And sometimes they turn into nightmares."
Yuuri - *shakes his head* "I don't think so.... But...." *pauses to watch him a bit* "You don't have to worry about nightmares while I'm with you..."
Wolfram - *struggles not to smile and has to force the frown to remain on his face, though his lips twitch a bit at the corners/jokes* "Being with you is a nightmare in itself."
Yuuri - *pouts a little* "Awww...."
Wolfram - *allows himself to smile* "But it's one that I wouldn't mind having over and over again."
Yuuri - *blinks then smiles* "Well... I'm glad I can be your reoccurring nightmare..."
Wolfram - *snorts, then lifts a hand to flick his nose*
Yuuri - *squeaks at the sudden contact* "H-hey!"
Wolfram - *laughs at him* "Wimp. Hurry up and finish feeding me. According to you, I'm eating for two now, right?"
Yuuri - *blinks, then quickly nods/brings his hand back up to his lips to place the bread against it*
Wolfram - *opens his mouth and eats it*
Yuuri - *continues to feed him until he was done with what was brought over/brings his hand down from feeding him the last piece to wrap around his waist, now holding onto him with both arms/going back to bury his face in his hair*
Wolfram - *smiles at him, satisfied now, though still a little iffy about staying in such a rundown place* "So, we've ended up staying in an abandoned little cabin anyway."
Yuuri - *grins through his hair/muffled* "Yeah... I think an abandoned castle might be better, next time..."
Wolfram - "Maybe. I don't know how good of a condition it's in, though. It might not be any better than this nowadays."
Yuuri - *shakes his head/still grinning* "It's fine... At least we could explore! Like a treasure hunter!" *obviously read/watched just a bit too much stuff about castles on Earth*
Wolfram - "I suppose. There should still be some stuff lying around there. If we run out of food, which I'm sure we will within the next couple of days, we can always sell anything we happen find."
Yuuri - "Yeah! And then we could make ourselves at home in a room or two and stay there for the rest of winter." *getting excited about being a treasure hunter*
Wolfram - *raises an eyebrow at him* "First we have to figure out where we are and then find it... and get married along the way, because as much as I want to have a baby, I'd kinda like to be married before it's born."
Yuuri - *pulls back some to kiss the back of his head* "Of course. We wouldn't want to put the baby through any social trouble..."
Wolfram - "Hmmm..." *thinks for a minute* "Do you want a boy or a girl?"
Yuuri - *blinks suddenly/leans around his shoulder to see his face* "Don't tell me you can choose what gender they are!"
Wolfram - "Of course not! Don't be ridiculous! I just want to know which you'd prefer."
Yuuri - *calms down a bit* "Oh... I was going to say..." *pauses to think, kissing along his jaw at the same time* "I guess it doesn't really matter... A boy would be nice because he would want to play baseball..." *of course* "... And a girl would be nice too... And I could teach her to play baseball as well... What do you want?"
Wolfram - *shakes his head a little* "I don't really know. I'd be fine with either, although a boy would be nice, I guess, since we already have Greta." *turns to grin at him* "Of course, we could get lucky and have one of each."
Yuuri - *grins back* "Or a couple of each." *pauses, then adds* "If you're up for that, of course..."
Wolfram - *gives him a strange look* "I've already told you I want a lot of children." *thinks again for a second, before his grin grows wider* "You know, one of my mother's friends had four babies at one time."
Yuuri - *mouth drops* "What?? Are you kidding??"
Wolfram - *shakes his head, nearly laughing at his reaction* "No, she really did have four. What do you think of that?" *pauses to consider it himself* "I don't know if I could handle it..."
Yuuri - *forces his mouth closed/thinking about it* "Wouldn't that be... dangerous? For both you and the children?"
Wolfram - "I suppose... but it's not like I can control how many I have at one time. That's all up to chance."
Yuuri - *frowns worriedly at him/definitely not liking the idea of him getting hurt... or any of the babies getting hurt* "I guess...."
Wolfram - *smiles at him again* "Don't look so nervous. I'll be fine. And I've told you more than once today; we have no idea if there's even a baby to worry about yet. Chances are against it."
Yuuri - *pouts a little before grinning* "Well... We could always make those chances better...."
Wolfram - *raises an eyebrow and grins back at him* "Oh?"
Yuuri - *shrugs a little/trying to keep his grin from getting too large* "Well..."
Wolfram - *teasing* "And how do you propose we increase our luck?"
Yuuri - *shrugs again* "Well... we could always.... get a little closer... like this...." *leaning around his shoulder to kiss his neck*
Wolfram - *laughs softly, then shifts around a bit so he's facing him, circling his arms loosely around his neck/still teasing* "Why, Your Majesty, do you intend to bed me on a cold floor of a rundown shack in the middle of nowhere, near the horses?"
Yuuri - *pauses, thinking about it/teasing* "Well... Unless you'd rather be out in the snow... Personally, I'd rather be inside... but if that's something you'd like..."
Wolfram - *laughs a little louder this time/hadn't really expected him to come back with something like that/sarcastic* "How romantic!"
Yuuri - *grins* "And cold!"
Wolfram - "Well, I suppose I can't disappoint my king, so as much as I just love the idea of freezing to death, I'll relent this time and allow you to do so next to the fire, where it's warm."
Yuuri - *laughs* "Really, now? You're perfectly okay with that?" *leans in to kiss his neck again*
Wolfram - *continues grinning at him playfully* "It's perfectly alright with me, although I can't imagine how the poor horses will feel."
Yuuri - *pulls back to blink at him* "They can close their eyes..."
Wolfram - *laughs, then releases a fake dreamy sigh* "I do believe I've fallen in love with the most romantic man in the world. First on an uncomfortable mattress in a closet while posing as brothers, and now in a tiny, dilapidated little shack."
Yuuri - *laughs* "Well... I do try, you know." *leans in to lightly touch his lips with his*
Wolfram - *kisses him back, still giggling a little bit/pulls away after a few seconds* "And here I'd always imagined our first time would be in our room back at the palace, with wine and candlelight, and the full moon and stars shining outside the window."
Yuuri - *blinks at him/teasing* "We can do that too, you know..."
Wolfram - *nods* "Once we get home, of course; whenever that will be. By then I'm sure you'll have found an even stranger place."
Yuuri - *grins/still teasing* "I was just thinking about that... Maybe in a haystack... or something..."
Wolfram - "That could prove to be at least slightly entertaining."
Yuuri - *laughs* "I bet it would be..."
Wolfram - *playfully sticks his tongue out at him, as he's grown used to doing* "You pervert..."
Yuuri - *raises an eyebrow at him* "Am I?"
Wolfram - *nods a bit* "Just a little. Most people don't try to make a baby in a haystack, Yuuri." *laughs at him again* "Or around horses, for that matter, but since we don't have much of a choice at the moment, I suppose I can forgive you for not providing a proper bed."
Yuuri - *laughs at that* "You know you like a challenge."
Wolfram - "A challenge? Is that what you call this? I still think it's merely another of your perversions."
Yuuri - *pouts playfully* "Awww.... Unless you don't want to... Then that's fine too... I suppose we could always wait until we got back to the castle and be normal..."
Wolfram - *grins* "Now where's the fun in that?"
Yuuri - *grins back* "Oh, so you do think this is fun."
Wolfram - "Well, I wouldn't exactly call it fun..."
Yuuri - *pouts again* "Oh..."
Wolfram - "We're certainly going against the norm. If my brother ever heard of this... he may not know what to think." *ponders for a moment, then gives him a bright smile* "Of course, then he'd kill you."
Yuuri - *cringes, though still teasing* "Yeah... That wouldn't be very good..."
Wolfram - *nods in agreement* "I'd like a baby before you die, please."
Yuuri - *smirks* "Then what are we waiting for?"
Wolfram - *smirks back* "I wonder..." *grabs one of Yuuri's hand from his waist and brings it up, kissing his palm*
Yuuri - *leans in to touch his forehead against the blond's* "You're really cute sometimes, you know..."
Wolfram - *smiles at him* "I know. You've told me many times before." *his smile then slowly turns into a grin/kisses his palm again, before moving to his thumb and then each of his fingers*
Yuuri - *stares at him in awe for a few long moments while he kissed him, then carefully pulls his hand away and down a bit to fiddle with the top button of Wolfram's jacket* "I love you."
Wolfram - *still smiling* "I love you, too." *then he pouts* "I wasn't finished yet."
Yuuri - *pouts back at him, but lifts his hand for him to take hold of again*
Wolfram - *repeats the same process from before, first kissing his palm, then his thumb, and then each of his fingers/then he lightly licks at his index finger, glancing up at him with a smirk*
Yuuri - *watching him, used to being kissed/blinks in slight surprise at the lick and smirk/raises an eyebrow at him curiously*
Wolfram - *his smirk widens into a grin before he looks back down to study his hand/slides Yuuri's finger into his mouth and sucks on it, before slowly sliding it back out/looks back up at him to witness his reaction*
Yuuri - *eyes widen a bit, flushing lightly, but doesn't pull away/still curious and wondering what he was getting at*
Wolfram - *does the same thing to each of his fingers, looking up to see his reaction every time, before placing another kiss against his palm*
Yuuri - *really curious now/not really knowing what his reaction to that should be/can feel the heat in his face rise, though*
Wolfram - *grins at him playfully* "Your face is red, Your Majesty. Is something wrong?"
Yuuri - *swallows* "No...."
Wolfram - "Hmmm..." *leans up to kiss his cheek* "It's warm."
Yuuri - *holds his breath, watching him/still curious*
Wolfram - *remains grinning, then begins to stand to his feet*
Yuuri - *blinks in slight panic as he pulls away* "W-what's wrong?"
Wolfram - *grins even more at his reaction, looking down at him* "Nothing." *begins to slowly undo his own jacket/teasing*
Yuuri - *watches him stupidly for a moment before quickly reaching up to start undoing his own jacket, pulling off his hat to toss near the horses in the process*
Wolfram - *stops/leans down to still Yuuri's hands* "Wait."
Yuuri - *completely freezes/blinking up at him*
Wolfram - *smirks at him* "I'll do it for you in just a second."
Yuuri - *sputters a bit/flushing red again* "O-okay..."
Wolfram - *raises an eyebrow at the redness in his face, releasing his hands* "You don't want me to?"
Yuuri - *quickly shakes his head* "N-no! You can!"
Wolfram - "Okay." *stand back up and begins to work on the fastenings of his own jacket again, sliding it off and tossing it aside once he's got it open*
Yuuri - *still not moving/doesn't want to be scolded for doing something he's not supposed to/watches him*
Wolfram - *smiles at him, lifting each of his feet and bending over slightly to take off his shoes* "You like staring, don't you?"
Yuuri - *blinks, realizing he'd been caught again/nods sheepishly*
Wolfram - *laughs softly and slowly starts to unbutton his shirt* "Why, Your Majesty, you flatter me."
Yuuri - *shrugs/small squeak* "I try..."
Wolfram - "You're welcome to stare all you want, you know." *teasingly undoes another button, halfway finished with his shirt/grins* "Anything to please my king..."
Yuuri - *fidgets while waiting/still not wanting to be scolded doing something, much less for being impatient*
Wolfram - *works on the rest of the buttons, making sure to take his time, grinning at Yuuri all the while*
Yuuri - *continues to stare at Wolfram's hands as they moved to each button, forcing his own to stay still*
Wolfram - *bites his lower lip as he tries to keep his smile from growing wider/finishes with the shirt but leaves it on, moving to work on his pants next*
Yuuri - *squirms a bit more, still watching his hands*
Wolfram - *can tell Yuuri is getting a little impatient, so he quickly removes the remainder of his clothing and tosses them aside, though he keeps the shirt, hoping to guard himself from the slight chill still in the air/does a slow little spin in front of Yuuri/teasing* "Like what you see?"
Yuuri - *gawks at him for a moment before quickly nodding a couple times/squeaks lightly again* "Yes..."
Wolfram - *pouts playfully, even if it's really hard not to smile* "Really? You're not just lying to me to make me feel better?"
Yuuri - *shakes his head just as quickly* "No!"
Wolfram - *can't help but continue to tease him* "'No' you don't like what you see?" *acts as if he's about to rebutton his shirt*
Yuuri - *squirms even more, looking like he was about to jump up to stop him, but stops himself, forcing himself to stay still* "Yes, I like what I see! No, I'm not lying to you to make you feel better!"
Wolfram - "Oh. Alright, then." *holds his hand out and hooks a finger at him, motioning for him to move* "Stand up."
Yuuri - *scrambles to get up, standing in front of him/still gawking*
Wolfram - *steps closer and begins to work Yuuri's jacket open, trying to prevent himself from laughing at the look on his face*
Yuuri - *mumbles something about how Wolfram was going to be the death of him/forces his hands to remain still by his sides*
Wolfram - *hears him and smirks, giving him a coy look* "Oh? But why would I want to kill you, Your Majesty? I'd have no one to tease."
Yuuri - *lets out an exasperated sigh*
Wolfram - *smiles at him, reaching out to grab one of his hands and bring it up to his face, licking at and then sucking on one of his fingers again* "I like to tease you." *lets go of his hand and helps him out of his jacket, tossing it over to where he'd previously placed his own* "I like to make you want me."
Yuuri - *squeaks softly* "You're doing a wonderful job of that..."
Wolfram - "I know. You don't have to tell me that." *grins at him* "Your reactions are enough." *lowers himself to crouch in front of him on the floor* "I'm going to take off your shoes now. You'll have to lift your feet."
Yuuri - *shifts impatiently, but lifts his feet at the right times as told* "You really don't have to do that..."
Wolfram - *takes one shoe of and tosses it aside, then does the same to the other* "I want to." *stands back up, undoing the buttons of Yuuri's shirt*
Yuuri - *still gawking and squirming a bit more/forces his hands to stay still again/mumbles, flushing a little* "You're being really slow..."
Wolfram - "I'm sorry, Your Majesty." *of course he isn't; he's enjoying himself too much to feel bad/leans in to kiss a portion of his chest that's exposed when he undoes a button* "You see, the theory is-" *undoes another* "-that as I tease you now, you're growing impatient and frustrated, which means-" *another* "-that when you finally get to kiss-" *another* '-and touch me-" *and another* "-you'll be more... what's the word I'm looking for...?" *stills in his actions as he thinks*
Yuuri - *gawks at him/not liking the idea of being teased so much*
Wolfram - *thinks some more, playing with the last button* "Hmmm... forceful. Passionate. Energetic." *smirks at him, slipping the final button through*
Yuuri - *frowns at him/fingers twitch a little, but he keeps them as still as possible/trying to sound uninterested* "Oh... is that the idea?"
Wolfram - "For now, yes." *his smirk turns into a grin* "I might think of another one later, though." *moves his hands down to begin unlatching his belt*
Yuuri - *really, really trying not to move around too much/still staring/mumbles more* "You're really slow..."
Aaaand that's all for now... Again, sorry about the shortness of this one... I know I cut it like... a couple pages shorter than usual... But I promise the others will be longer! Or at least as long as the post lets me have them... Thank you for reading!
