I feel so sad. It's the strangest thing. I can't help it.. right now everything seems like it's in shambles and tonight dance just opened me up completely. I had another crappy night.. I think I need to take more class, lose some weight, and regain my composure before I will stop having these off nights. Honestly. . . ive lost my center in ( Read more... )

Case of the Ass covert_culture November 12 2004, 06:10:27 UTC
We used to call it "a case of the ass" as in "I gotta' case of the ass." Only thing to do with a case of the ass is do the minimum till it passes (like a fart which is maybe why it's called case of the ass?? :)Especially do some stuff that's not competitive but pure enjoyment e.g. read a nice book, watch a nice movie, play with the shmas (cats), take a walk.
What the hell I say enjoy the diet :) It sounds like Atkins or an Atkins clone. Perfect for Tgiving (more meat!! grunt grunt LOL) You wanna' do a diet together in January?
BTW, Babi's been in the hospital. It started with a cold which meant she couldn't get enough oxygen. She is getting stronger though and likes her rehab in the hospital. I'll give her all your love.
And I give you all my <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Im glad shes happy where she is. Mom told me about it the other day..
Im glad that all I have is a case of the ass.. thats reassuring, lol.
Id be honored to diet with you in January. It is the most crucial month, as i need to be sub 135 by the end of february (or would rather like to be) So that I can be a lightweight for an erging competition I am entering.
We're having a crew party tomorrow, so I g2g do some hw since it'll be a busy weekend.
If you want something to think about, a prompt for an essay due monday in History:

"Throughout the colonial period, economic concerns had more to do with the settling of British North American than the Religious concerns did.

Assess the validity of this statement with specific reference to economic and religious concerns"

Don't look anything up.. just think about it. She only wants us using our book

Umm... I know a bit about them colonials ^-^. In truth you can really take either side but it seems to me the more i think about it the more economic it seems. My history teacher last year drilled it into me about Jamestown and how what came to be the "Jamestown Gentlemen" left England because of primogeniture. The younger sons would be left with nothing, had really no chance of hacking it in England, and the New World sounded pretty dandy. Of course they went into the dealie thinking they really wouldnt have to work since theyd have docile slaves by the barrel. But low and behold they were wrong and ended up having to work their little pansy-tooshies off. There were those that came for "religious freedom" but the chances of a newfound prosperity in a New World was also quite enticing. So even God's Children were interested in the economic benefits. They had that whole belief that if they were prosperous they were the Chosen as well... if im not mistaken. So its dandyful and people have forever been money hungry. ^-^. Thats lauren's ( ... )

hey leia...i hope everythings feelin better. we all have our days. trust me...and i know exactly what you mean. ever since my knee injury i just feel like im never good enough or i cant dance as good as other people. we have to stop dancing for other people and dance for ourselve leia. thats what we need. and once u do that, ull realize that you are beautiful when you dance. its how u feel inside while ur dancing is what matters...and trust me its wicked hard to do but its so worth it. im here if you need me babe, i love you! <33 kristina

"Now i just have a knot in my throat and I should be eating supper but I dont have enough faith in the diet im supposed to be on."

-That's exactly how I felt for the longest time, and there are times when I still think that way. First of all, I think you are simply beautiful just the way you are, and I honestly don't think you need to lose weight. But the whole deal with the diet ... you told me once to just trust Jen, because she's never let us down. And you were right. Trust her, she knows what she's talking about, so just keep eating. Keep pushing yourself every day during crew and dance, and you'll get it. If you still think that your "losing it" in dance, then take a break from crew. Everyone needs a break sometimes.
