Ferelden is a good idea. She's going to need someone to tell her some stories she can actually tell her child about its father someday...

I actually put kind of an embarrassing amount of thought into where I thought they would go and finally decided on Ferelden for one reason: Hawke, Aveline, and Merril are all from there originally and would know how best to sort of "blend in." I imagine that when you're essentially fugitives you would want to go somewhere you understood, somewhere you could avoid drawing undue attention (or, you know, as little attention as a dwarf, a Dalish mage, and Hawke can draw, at least...).
