Mischief Managed

So I saw the movie today and I didn't cry as I expected to.  I think it was because I was more emotionally attached to the books which I just finished rereading.  Anyway, for my future reference and for any of you who are interested........

I know I'm in the minority but I only came close to crying during the scenes in the forrest.  That moment when Harry reached out and his hand went through Lily's, still unable to feel his mother's touch, broke my heart!

* The Snape scenes were really well done and actually made me feel more for him than those in the books.  (I was never a Snape fan, don't throw things)

* Neville!!  I LOVE that he had his hero moments and they were wonderful.  I cheered!  And he even got Luna even though I know Jo said he didn't :)

* Minerva McGonagall and Molly Weasley are FIERCE!!  Do NOT mess with their young ones!  <3 <3

* Ron!!  Brave and then heartbroken but always there for his Harry and so in love with his girl.  *happy sigh*

* Harry!!  As I mentioned earlier, he broke my heart. That scene in the forrest.. *weeps*   He was strong and determined.  And I thought Dan did a lovely job in the epilogue scenes, so sweet.

My minor complaints..

*  I've said it since I saw it in the trailers, parapet plunge.. seriously?!?!?!

*  I could have done without the graphicness of Voldemort's walk through Gringotts and horcrux!Voldermort in Kings Cross.

* Harry should have repaired his wand before breaking the elder wand.

*  Yes it was emotional but I don't think Ron & Hermione would have let Harry go on his suicide walk so the "goodbye" scene was weird to me.

Bottom line, I LOVED it and want to gush forever about this fabulous cast.  I want to go again but this time with someone I can fangirl with.

Also, cutest thing I saw today, two teenage girls with their Pooh bears obviously going to see the new Winnie the Pooh movie.
